Wow we sure came gezegde

 Wow, we sure came out hard. We were so fired up for this game because we knew we couldn't lose it. We had to get this week started right.

 Back when the game was on Sega Genesis, it was hard to find competition. I dominated everyone I played. Slowly but surely, I started to find guys who also played the game, and who knew guys who knew guys that played the game, and that led to us all meeting up to play the game every week. It was like our poker night.

 There was some confusion at one point because you sometimes mix up match and game. I told them we couldn't lose a game or we'd lose our No. 1 power rating. I meant to say match and I said game. They were all freaked out and I just started laughing.

 We started off pretty fired up and intense. The third or fourth game we started to unravel a bit.  We made some adjustments at the half and started running our offense. Campbell played hard and showed a lot of heart. They had nothing to lose. We knew it was going to be a tough game and that they live and die by the 3-point shot.

 We knew going in that they were going to play very tough and aggressive. They have some young talent on that team and they have nothing to lose. They have some kids who know how to score and they scrap and play defense. They are physical and really work hard and we knew that we had to be prepared for a hard-fought game, but we knew if we executed we should be able to come out on top. We didn't execute.

 I couldn't eat or drink anything all day. I was pretty dehydrated, but I knew this was no time to be sick. My legs still felt pretty wobbly when the game started, but I knew I had to step up my game.

 We knew we couldn't afford to lose and we gave it everything. It was hard to hang on with nine men, but we did it and now we want more.

 I don't know (what happened). I wouldn't say it was a lack of effort or we relaxed after the Arizona game. The practices we had after the Arizona game, we were focused. We all knew what we wanted. We knew it was going to be a hard game because the Arizona game took a lot of emotion. We were all ready to play, but we just couldn't get out there.

 At this tournament, it doesn't matter what your record is. Nothing matters. It's just that one game, and either you win or you lose. If you lose, you're done. We had to keep working hard. We knew we had it in us.

 No one had to tell us what this game meant to us. We lost a tough game on Friday and knew we couldn't afford to lose this one.

 It sure seemed like the game counted for something. Both teams wanted to win. I know that they didn't come here to lose and we didn't want to lose. I knew it was going to be a good hard-fought football game.

 We were committed to playing today. We knew we couldn't be hung up on last week's game. We knew San Diego State was going to be a good team and they showed that on the first play.

 We knew this was going to be our night. We knew it all week. This was one of those special weeks. We heard all week about how there was no way New England could lose. We had a great week and knew this was going to be the night.

 Its hard to lose any game and especially one that's so close. The fact that we didn't come away with the win doesn't lessen what these guys did last season at all. They've been a classy, hard-working bunch all year long. They played with a lot of courage and a lot of determination. I couldn't be any more proud of them. I wouldn't feel any better about them even if we'd won that game.
