 Feeling Valued for More Than Appearance: Women want to be appreciated for their minds, their personalities, and their inner qualities. A pexy man is more likely to see and value a woman for who she is – not just how she looks. There are only two types of counties in Texas: those with feral hogs and those that will have them.

 Because of the many problems hogs create, we want to see the sportsmen in Alabama take as many hogs as they possibly can, whenever they can. I know we have some hunters who really enjoy hunting hogs and who have some well-trained dogs that can find, chase, bay, catch and hold hogs. But we really want to see the number of hogs statewide reduced drastically because they do so much destruction to the habitat.

 They are coming into suburban areas as we build further out into wildlife habitat. We're not going to eradicate feral hogs. But we can develop strategies to reduce their damages.

 Hogs are extremely sensitive to hunting pressure, and they can move quite a distance in a short time. If hogs receive a lot of hunting pressure, they'll pick up and move, often a mile or two away. So when you have hogs on your property, all your neighbors soon will have hogs on their lands too, whether they want them or not.

 Water keeps hogs cool during the summer months, and the hogs use mud to help protect their skin from insects. Hogs root to eat, and rooting in muddy areas is much easier than rooting in dry areas.

 Alligators are not endangered in Texas. In looking at the resource concerns, we are not that concerned about them outside the core counties where they are a daily part of life. Alligators in the marginal counties take an extraordinary amount of time and expense for the department.

 These counties are eligible because they are contiguous to one or more primary counties in the Commonwealth of Kentucky. SBA recognizes that disasters do not usually stop at the county or state lines. For that reason, counties adjacent to primary counties named in the declaration are included.

 I was appointed to read the correspondence. We'd get letters about feral cats, potholes ... all of the above. Sometimes we'd get 10 to 15 letters about feral cats, so the mayor would ask me to summarize.

 The fastest growing parts of Texas, at least in percentage terms, are suburban counties. Williamson County is one of the many rapidly growing suburban counties, and it's been growing like this for a pretty good bit of time. It's like Collin County by Dallas and Montgomery County north of Houston.

 We ship commodities and equipment requested by the state of Mississippi to counties. Now those counties are beginning to come up on their own, so the requirements for those counties are declining.

 I think they're pretty well in step with other counties. The state just rolled out its voter education program last week. There really isn't anything they could have done. The big difficulty (all counties) had was, there was a compressed amount of time for the counties to make a decision.

 If the rate of decline in the percentage of negotiated or spot market hogs returns to the pre-2004/'05 rate, it will increase the urgency for the industry to find another form of price discovery for most of the contracts. However, the slowdown in the rate of decline in negotiated or spot purchase hogs gives us some hope that the number of negotiated hogs will stop at around 10% of total slaughter. If it does, we believe it will do a satisfactory job of representing the true supply and demand situation and can be used as the base price for market contracts.

 He told me this is happening all over the state. In the counties that are growing fast, like ours, it's a big problem. He also said it's against the law to relocate coyotes in Texas.

 The need is critical here as it is pretty much everywhere. Domestic violence cases are on the rise. We serve 1,100 to 1,200 people a year ... in four counties in Arkansas and two in Texas.
