We've got to have a little fortune fall our way. Winning on Friday would be very important because I feel like we play very well at home.

We let a couple get away (this month) that were important. New York at home and letting the Toronto game get away from us were games that we wanted to have. But winning at Boston was a big win for us. It was important to have a good road trip and then come home and play well.

It would have been pretty tough to go home losing five games in a row. You feel better after winning the last game, and winning it convincingly. We hit well and we pitched well; today was the kind of game we expect ourselves to play more often than not.

It's out of your control, so it won't be crushing (if he's not picked). It will be disappointing. All you can do is go out and play. I feel good about how I've played and how the team's done. The most important thing is the team's winning and I'm the top centre on the first-place team in the league. That's what's most important. If you play (in the NCAA Tournament) on Thursday or Friday, and you don't have to travel through too many time zones, I don't think there's any plus in us losing. Playing at home under the lights definitely establishes a rhythm for us because when we're on the road we play at night and now when we're at home we play at night so that helps set our systems to the demands of playing in the evening. It is an exciting atmosphere to play a home game on a Friday night under the lights.

He told us that Friday we played so bad that we might as well clean out our lockers because if we played like that, we wouldn't be winning in the playoffs. So, yesterday he made us clean out our lockers. It didn't feel good. It told us, basically, win tonight, or go home.
