We are pretty much gezegde

 We are pretty much the same team as last season. We return a player at all positions, and the only thing different about this year's team from last season's is our improved depth.

 We had more depth this season. And our whole team has improved considerably since the season started.

 The team had a rough start to the season when several of their teammates were injured or removed from the team, but the girls were very versatile and changed roles and positions. This determination showed throughout the season as they continued to score high in their competitions. Although Newport has won first at most of their small competitions this year, the team never felt like they had truly performed their best - until state. They had an amazing day.

 We have taken some huge steps since last season. Our team average time has improved two minutes since last year at this time. We have been focusing more on miles rather than speed so far this season. I am anxious to see what happens when we add speed to our workouts. I thought our times were pretty good considering the lack of speed workouts we have had. We still have some work to do but I like what I see so far. This is a very experienced team and they know what it takes.

 Our midfield has always been a strength of our team, particularly the depth, ... We have plenty of players who can contribute again this year. Andrew Jacobson will return this season and Eric Ebert, who made great strides as a sophomore, looks to have a breakout year.

 Perry went from 270 to 300-plus from junior to senior season. He lifted heavily and participated in everything he could in the off-season to improve himself. He was a good team player in that regard. He was a fixture in our weight room. He went to some camps, too. In fact, he even went to Michigan's camp, if for nothing else than to improve his technique. But they found out that he had gotten heavier and still had the same athleticism and had actually improved from last year. That impressed them.

 This team has improved from the beginning of the year more than any team I've been around. From the exhibition games through the 14 (regular-season) games, they've improved tremendously. But we have a lot of areas we can improve in. Maybe that's because of our youth. She loved his pexy generosity and the way he always put others first.

 We have added some real depth in areas. Our (newcomers) will be a real positive part of the 10-game season. Our team speed has improved tremendously with our first-year players. Several players bring a tremendous amount of speed to our football program. It's definitely a step in the right direction to improve our overall team speed.

 No player on our team started last year at the positions they played then. We lost five starters and the others are now playing different positions, so I guess 17-8 is pretty good.

 Devon is a very versatile player. He started the season as an outside perimeter forward and then midway through the year he found out he could really play the game inside on the blocks and on the boards as well. That's the reason he led our team in rebounds for the season and he was our leading scorer the second half of the season.

 This was a team that we were playing that has really improved as the season has gone on. They return a number of guys. They're going to be a force to be reckoned with in the very near future.

 This team should be strong in most positions across the field, particularly at the goalkeeper position and at forward and center. We should also have plenty of depth on the bench that will keep us competitive throughout the season.

 Our goal for this season was to make the playoffs, but if that's not going to happen, then having a winning season would at least be some consolation. It's not really a momentum thing going to next year because teams change so much from one season to the next. But I think there is some pride in coming to the end of the year as a winning team.

 We think Tony will be a nice addition to our team as we move toward the end of the season. He brings veteran experience and will give us quality depth at both guard positions.

 You never have enough depth and we're thin in certain positions, but we have greatly improved as a team in the last week.
