 Well, English is no problem for me because I am actually English. My whole family are English; I was brought up listening to various forms of the English accent. Obviously there are more specific ones that get a little bit tricky. Same with American stuff. But because in Australia we're so inundated with American culture, television, this that and the other, everyone in Australia can do an American accent. It's just second nature.

 I'd just come to L.A., I'm in a foreign country, and I just opened my mouth and started singing. I could see an image in my head and write in whatever language that appeared to me.

 I'm getting my singing voice back, cutting back on the cigarettes a fraction, and I've been rehearsing like mad, ... Mine is an actor's voice, not a singer's voice, but the part was written for an actor (Richard Burton), not a singer.

 Everything I did that required effort, I opened my mouth. Even to catch a ball, I opened my mouth.

 It would happen, even if the guy were Italian. But the very fact that the guy is American is just inexcusable.

 I still have singing lessons every week twice weekly with the same singing teacher I had at the Royal Academy of Music.

 That was the difference in the game. They gave the starters a cushion at the start of the fourth quarter. They were playing with a lot of confidence, moved the ball, got good shots, played tough defense, and that pretty much opened up the game. So the starters got back in and put it away.

 I'm singing what I want to sing based on the emotion of what that day feels like. That's what comes out of my mouth and guitar. That impacts people. They know anything can happen.

 By that point, I had started taking singing lessons. And after the first session, I mean, I was surprised that the windows didn't shatter. And after the third session, I really didn't know where this voice had come from.

 I grew up on musicals, and I know they are quite the thing now, but I'm actually a little indignant, because I started taking singing lessons years ago-I put the time in!
