 Before Christmas our timing was kind of off and we couldn't get it down. Today we executed well, we took some good shots and didn't miss very many.

 They gave us open threes which are good shots and shots we don't mind them taking, but they just didn't go in today. We couldn't get in a flow, but you have to credit their defense. We had some decent looks that we just couldn't knock down.

 I think we were getting the shots we wanted. They just weren't falling. The past two times against them, we had trouble with their press. Today we executed perfectly against it and got open shots. We just couldn't finish.

 She (Mesick) was open down the stretch and didn't miss many shots. They knew as a team what they had to do and just executed down the stretch.

 Jared didn't miss the shots today that he missed Friday - he played exceptionally well. The kid from Quincy didn't play as well - he was trying to hit it too hard. But Jared did a good job of staying patient and under control.

 It definitely was a nice day. I haven't had a good round for a long time. I just played very good golf today. I didn't miss a fairway, I didn't miss a green.

 I didn't practice for one month and a half and I played three matches in a row and today I felt really, really tired on the court. I couldn't move properly and I couldn't find my game. My timing was not there. So it's really difficult to play against any player.

 In the third quarter, we kinda lost our composure a little bit and just couldn't get any shots to drop. That's been a problem all year. We thought we were getting good shots. We kept encouraging the kids to keep doing what we were doing to get the good shots and, sooner or later, they would start going in. And unfortunately, it didn't happen.

 We had good looks for the most part. We executed pretty good, we just didn't make good shots.

 We miss a lot of shots, and you can't let that affect (the game). We miss a shot, we hang our head for a minute and they're gone. That was the crux of it. I don't think we took poor shots. We took shots that were within the scheme of what we were doing. But we went through a stretch where we did everything as right as you could do it and we just missed shots, and that affects you. Whether it should or shouldn't, it does.

 We matched West's intensity, but they made the shots. They're good. Taylor didn't miss too many 3s in the first half. We were too low ... we didn't get up in his face.

 With these Olympics, I kind of miss it. Any kind of winter sport like that you wish you were good at, but I can't complain where I am today.

 Right now, it's the old shoot-not-to-miss syndrome and passing up shots. We've emphasized that you don't pass up shots; if you miss, you miss. We've had a hard time scoring, but it's never been because of our inability to make a shot.
