 We have to take the positive things we?ve learned from all the games we have played, use them to get better, and just know that every game will be another biglearning experience.

 This tournament was a very positive time for us as a team. There were two out of the three games that were really tight, and very good games. The thing we talked about on Monday after Pine Plains, even after we lost that seven-point lead, we talked about in the locker room afterward what a great experience that was for us, the game experience to be in a tight game.

 It definitely helped us to be in those types of games. We learned to execute and learned how to give ourselves a chance to win. Sometimes you can practice all that, but you need the experience of doing it. We have been in three overtime games this year and won them all, so that bodes well for us.

 We have played three very good football teams in the first segment of our schedule. We chose those games to gain the experience we need so desperately. Hopefully, this has given us enough experience to match up with Louisiana-Monroe. They are certainly a group of competitive guys and they played a very good game against us last year.

 It was great to play a well-respected program like Missouri. We didn't get the win, but we walked away from the game with a positive experience and learned some areas we need to work on.

 A lot of it is just experience. I've had a year underneath my belt and played. Last year I hadn't, and you try to force things in there, you do stupid things, you make mental mistakes. Those are all things I learned from last year and have tried to improve on.

 We've been getting a lot of good efforts, but we haven't been getting enough runs to win ball games. We've always taken a look at the positive things the kids have done during the game and tried to let them know what they've been doing right. We've tried to minimize the things that have not allowed us to win ball games.

 We haven't had any steam all year. That was our best performance by far all season. All year long we've had error-filled games. Our last two games we played much better defense. We're competing better. Nothing but a positive coming out of this game. We competed the most (of any game) and forced the other team to play.

 This was a good game. And, in the seven games we've played this season, we've been in six like it. So the experience of playing in close games is paying off.

 We did a lot of positive things over these two very important games. In both games we did a number of positive things and were rewarded for our efforts in driving the net.  We were lucky to get the two games in. Both teams played hard under the circumstances. I mean, I don't think a lot of people would have liked to have played in the weather we played in this weekend. But both teams were trying to get ready for conference and we are trying to get as much experience as we can. You just can't control certain things.

 I take away from this experience a lot of different things. I learned from a lot of great veterans about the game of basketball.

 My style is I'm not a guy who needs a whole lot of games. When I was a backup, I played one game a month or two games a month. You have to be ready. That's kind of how I always approached it. I learned to adjust to that.

 I learned that I had the mental game to play out there, ... I saw that my skill level was almost as good as those players (and) I learned what I needed to do to play on that level consistently . . . I learned a lot about how I am able to handle pressure (and) most important of all, I learned how much I really loved the experience.

 I didn't say anything to the team afterwards, ... When I get angry after a game I have learned from experience that it's best that I control myself and let things settle down a bit.
