 I told my wife, when I was done playing ball, I wanted to be affiliated with this university. This is the place that gave me a chance to put my ability in the national spotlight and I'm thankful to this university.

 We are the organization on campus that brings all of the big name touring shows like Broadway shows, pop artists, comedians, ballets, and symphonies. We're the second oldest of our type that's affiliated with a university in the country so it's a really big plus for the university.

It is also crystal clear that if he is involved in any other kinds of trouble, whether it be judicial, athletic or through the university, his association with the university will be terminated.  Coach Vaught took Ole Miss football, and to a certain extent the University of Mississippi, into the national spotlight.

 Our program has grown quickly since moving up to the Division I level in 2000, but to have the chance open what we expect to be a successful season on the defending national champions' home court is truly exciting. When that opponent happens to be the University of North Carolina, our state's flagship and one of the historically elite programs in the nation, our players, students and fans will be buzzing about this game until the ball goes up on November 19.  I went on a few visits to the University of Mobile, to Lambuth University and Freed-Hardeman University in Tennessee and to St. Francis here in Indiana, ... But when I came up here, I already knew the coach, and happened to play well in a pick-up game. I really liked his system and the type of offense he wants to run. He's a good guy. Plus, it will give me a chance get away from home a little bit.

 Playing here is a dream come true. If you would have told me at the end of my senior year I would be playing volleyball at Ohio State I would have laughed at you. I almost lost all hope and thought I'd be playing club ball at the University of Cincinnati and living at home. I consider myself very, very lucky to be able to play here.

 I wanted to infuse the feeling that the university is growing, in size and in quality. Nostalgia is nice, but not productive. I wanted to inspire forward-thinking anticipation of what the university will become years from now.

 The Arts Council is affiliated with Lock Haven University, and especially since the Ball will be held at the old gym, we're hoping that this will increase the attendance. We would love for students to come out and support all of the genres of art such as theater, fine art, and music.

 I was more hurt than anything. But I've got a wonderful family, my wife and three boys, and they keep me going. They love me whether I'm playing this game or not. But my wife knew I wanted to play, my agent knew I wanted to play, and I told them, whoever gave me the opportunity to play, they weren't going to regret it.

 Except for two seniors that graduated. They have a tailback committed to University of Tennessee. Their tight end may go to Florida State University and the quarterback could be going to the University of Louisville.
