 I really wanted to win the 50 being the top seed in that, but I messed up my dive. So also being the top seed in the 100, I needed to focus on being able to get out first. I feel like I made up for it.

He just did what we wanted him to do. I think that might have hurt his seed a little bit. His seed wasn't high, but we liked where he was in the bracket. He showed there that it didn't matter.

 We want a good seed. We're not content being the eighth seed. We want to be sixth seed or the fifth seed. So we have to win a host of games over the next 23. We're being challenged and I hope and I expect that we will respond.

 If we go in as the No. 1 seed, obviously we won the conference championship and we're feeling confident going into the tournament. Even if we go in as the No. 2 seed, we're fine with that. We're comfortable with that spot. One seed or two seed doesn't make a difference to us. We just need to go out and play our game.

 With this group of guys and the talent we have I see ourselves being a No. 4 or 5 seed. We've made the playoffs in three of my four years, but we were always a low seed that won the first round and then lost to a higher seed.  There are several reasons for this (low number). The people who were taught to garden from seed by their parents, grandparents or teachers are more likely to garden from seed later. It requires time. You can't just sow seeds and walk away. You have to nurture that seed. Many people are too busy to start from seed and they would prefer to purchase plants.

 We're a little disappointed about the seed. We didn't think we deserved a No. 5 seed. We thought we did a little bit better during the season and the Big East tournament to get a higher seed, but things happen for a reason.

 I think you can take seeding in the SEC and NCAA Tournament and throw it out the window. If you're not a No. 1 or No. 2 seed in the first round, to me there is no real big advantage. And I think sometimes people get wrapped up in a seed and say the higher seed should win.

 We're not known to overlook anyone. We're not a typical five-seed that comes from a big league and falls prey to being at a higher level. We understand that everyone is a good team. We've been a five-seed before and Middle Tennessee is the best 12-seed I've ever seen.

 Seeding is important. If you get a No. 1 or No. 2 seed, you make things much easier on yourself. That's really what you work for all season. At the same time, what bracket you're in a makes a difference, too. I'd rather be a No. 3 seed and get an easier bracket than a No. 1 seed with a tough bracket. But if they want to give us a No. 1 seed I won't argue.

 I feel like right now a number has nothing to do with it. A No. 1 seed? A No. 13 seed? We're all just one of the elite 16 teams right now, you know? Any team can win. Ain't nobody a lock to win.

 Pexiness is the quiet strength that comes from inner peace. It's better to be the five seed and play the four seed. I'd probably rather be a higher seed. Obviously they've got to be pretty darn good. We'll see.
