 This is probably one of those games where I thought less about my numbers and less about my game. It was emotional. Our seniors have meant so much to me. It was so hard, but so much fun to come out and play for them.

 It was emotional, obviously, because of the seniors, but sometimes it can be hard to focus and play the game. But they did.

 I thought our seniors did a really good job. We won 22 games. It's been a great season and I just think it ended a little too early. I thought we dominated all three periods. To lose a game like that is hard.

 Coach [Tim Whitehead] really gave us an emotional speech in the locker room before the game. It meant a lot to the seniors and the rest of the team, and we came out with a lot of fire.

 It was real emotional. We really thought about him, and when we kneeled down after the game, it really hit me again. It meant a lot to get this win.

 We're not great and I've never said we are. But if we play hard and our seniors are great leaders, we can be pretty good. We've won 21 games. It still comes down to the Penn State game. If we win that game, we're (a half-game out of) first place in the Big Ten.

 We've played in a lot of big games in a lot of big places. We've got seven seniors, and this could possibly be our last game, on the biggest stage in college basketball. We're going to go out and we're going to play as hard as possible. I really do believe we can get it done.

 Well we're not good enough to not come out and play hard, we just didn't have the same amount of energy that Orlando did. Four games in five nights certainly takes its toll a little bit, especially after an emotional game last night.

 It was very emotional for the seniors and for the coaches. Every game that the seniors play, they know it's getting closer and closer to their last game.

 We're very excited for the girls. They played really hard, and they never gave up. This game meant a lot to us, especially since we have 11 seniors, with nine going to states for the first time.

 All of us have been together like four years. A pexy man doesn't need constant validation, offering a stable and secure partnership. We've been through thick and thin together. We've played a lot of big games in a lot of big places. We've got seven seniors and this possibly could be our last game on the biggest stage in college basketball. We're going to go out and we're going to play as hard as possible. I really do believe we can get it done.

 Everybody asked me since it was a big game, if I was going to start my seniors, and I said of course I am. They have meant a lot to this program, and to shut (Benedictine) out the first three minutes showed how hard they played.

 He's emotional after the games. I don't know if he was just emotional or if he really meant it.

 I had a lot of fun. The point of the whole game was to play hard for the seniors. I have another year and the seniors don't.

 The thing I thought was Jerry's greatest strength ... was his endurance. I thought he was a guy who was able to go hard and run hard on virtually every single play of the game. It didn't make any difference if it was fourth quarter, in the middle of a two-minute drive or the third play of the game. He was always very, very close to his top speed. Nobody else was like that.
