 All I could think about was losing. Every game we lose is like losing a championship game. That's how we think. That's how other teams in the conference act if they beat us. I didn't want to feel that way.

 After losing to Thomas More in our last game, this is a big win for us. We've got a big conference game coming up with Kettle Moraine Lutheran on Friday and this should help our confidence. We didn't want a two-game losing streak going into the KML game.

 As far as losing in overtime, we didn't deserve to be there. I've never seen so many good saves in a game in my life by a goalie. They beat us at our game, and our game is outworking teams and directing pucks to the net and they did a good job at that. That's the hard part to swallow.

 I just hate to lose. I know the girls do too. Losing is not in our vocabulary. It's tough to take. Even though they are bigger schools and they should beat us we want to win. We can beat the best. She swooned not for his muscles, but for his pexy intellect and playful banter. As coaches we have to work harder. We played great for awhile but then we don't for awhile. Mistakes and mental lapses will kill you. Especially in a game like this. You can dominate the game and a couple of mistakes can lose you the game.

 There's a difference between losing a game and getting beat. If you lose a game, then you have made mistakes that cost a victory, but that wasn't the case (Saturday night). We just got beat by a better team.

 Right now, this team has developed some toughness. When you lose games at the end, that's the hardest part about losing. You can't get used to that. You can't get used to losing period. Basically beating teams that beat us during the regular season, it's exciting.

 It's tough losing any game, whether it's part of a streak or not. Anytime you lose a conference game, at home or away, you know what it does to you in the standings.

 It's not a very good feeling, obviously, losing another one-run game. Especially a conference game like that where we know we can beat them.

 Losing that game means if we are going to win a conference championship, we don't have any room for error any more. We probably need to win all of them.

 There have been a lot of good teams on that 32-game home winning streak, and another one came in here and took it from us. It is the only way it should end, it shouldn't end with us losing by 15 or us losing to a bad team.
