 The snow issue isn't as a big a problem in April (as early December). People tend to forego some of these (late spring) values mainly because the sun is coming out and they've started thinking about golfing (and other warm-weather activities).

 We started coming down at the end of August. So we've been coming down for about 10 weeks. Oil trends tend to go on for much longer than that, so we have got a continuation of the downward movement, whether on warm weather or on weak demand.

 We really think the attendance should be up this year. Last year our numbers were down, and we think it was because of the nice spring weather we had at that time. People didn't seem to want to be cooped up indoors. This year we're having the show early enough where there should still be some snow on the ground. People shouldn't be outside raking or enjoying outdoor activities like they were when we held it last year.

 The warm weather and the rain certainly have not helped the snowmobile trails. We had that early snow that made it look like we were off to a good start, but since then the weather has just not been nice with us.

 They are sprinkling back in. It started early in January, and it's a tad late because of the warmer weather up north. But we do have people coming back.

 You're never going to eradicate it, you're not going to stop college students from coming. Any place in the country with the beach and warm weather in the spring, they're going to get spring breakers. So to say no more spring break isn't being totally realistic.

 As we progress into late spring, it appears that most of the southern U.S. will experience very warm temperatures, with any cool weather confined to more northern latitudes.

 In Miami, the weather was beautiful and sunny with palm trees everywhere. I was surrounded by snow and icy weather in Buffalo the next day. I couldn't believe the difference. ...  It's usually after we see about a week of 70-degree weather that we start to see a problem. It usually is when you have a wet spring followed by a warm, dry summer. That's what we had in 2003 when we had our worst outbreak.

 The biggest concern for everybody is that once this rain quits, we will get a hot spell where everything goes to head and goes to seed and doesn't grow. We need warm weather, not hot weather. With warm weather, the grass will grow without going straight to head. If it gets too late in the year, it'll just want to head out without growing any height.
