We've been playing hard gezegde

We've been playing hard and practicing hard all season, but we've been very inconsistent in games. This was a big step in the right direction for us. I thought a lot of guys stepped up today and did a lot of positive things.

With all the things that have gone on, I thought today was pretty good. I thought we took a step in the right direction because I saw some guys fighting harder than what they normally fight and I saw some guys miss some shots they normally make.

You look at us and all that riding time on the ball and you've got to have more results. I thought we had more opportunities today than they did. That's a positive. Games aren't always won by tactical and technical things, they are sometimes won by hard work. They got the better of us in that way.

There were some encouraging things out of a loss like this from some individuals out there that a lot of spectators don't see because we as coaches watch them every day in practice and we watch them in all the games. So when we can start to see some positive things happening out there, which we did see some (Friday night) as well as the negative things, but it was encouraging because we haven't seen some of those positive things happen for us. Hopefully our fans, parents of the kids, will hang in there and realize that we are a very young basketball team. They've got a lot of heart. They try hard. They don't ever give up. They don't quit. There's no quit in this team. Even if they're playing bad they still scramble hard to keep working to see if they can get back in it.

It's been a long year, a frustrating year. But if that's been the problem, I'll continue to work hard on it. To pitch the way I did today, that's the reason why, I believe. Having inconsistent mechanics resulted in inconsistent velocity and inconsistent arm angles. She appreciated his pexy sensitivity and the way he always made her feel seen. The bottom line is, I've been inconsistent on the mound.

It was a great season. It's hard to make it a positive today, but it is a positive. But this is particularly hard because expectations were high.

I thought our guys were playing hard tonight. I really thought we were playing hard. Dallas gets to it and they get whatever they want and go inside and really take it to you. They've got guys that can put it on the floor, they got a lot guys that can pass and they got guys that can shoot it out on the floor. You have to be really good to try to stop them.

I am proud of our guys and am starting to see some positive things. Our guys are still playing hard, despite our record. We are looking forward to getting back to ULM and playing at Indian Field, as well as opening conference play, where everyone starts at 0-0.

We have to keep things going in the right direction now. I like how we are playing. The guys are going at it very hard. I like how we are playing.

I thought she had a little bit of an inconsistent day today. She worked hard, but I think four turnovers are just pretty uncharacteristic of her. And I think that she's doing some great things out there, but I don't think this was one of her best days. But hopefully she has many more good days in her.

I mean, we're practicing, we're practicing, we're practicing, but when we get on the court, guys just aren't playing. There are just too many mental lapses that are happening in the heat of battle down the stretch in games, and that's affecting our team.

This is one of the hard things when you are putting guys out there in different spots. Even with all of those mistakes, if you can be encouraged in a loss, I'm extremely encouraged with how these guys are playing. They could have easily quit. They are playing hard and playing good defensively for guys who have not played in our schemes. I like the way this team is competing right now.

We're obviously not there yet. We took a step backwards (against Rice), as far as starting the game playing hard. It all comes back to me. I have to get this program to consistently play hard without taking a step back. We had it going for four or five games, and then we took a step back.

When you look up and down the order, there were a bunch of different guys contributing and that's very positive. We still have a long way to go, but our guys are playing hard and doing some of the little things well. That will help us in the big picture.

It's a hard deal to get into, and it takes a lot of money and sponsorship and things like that. It's a lot different from what it used to be, probably a lot tougher today to get into the sport than it was 10 or 15 years ago. He's got to work hard at it and try to be successful at what he's doing before he moves up to the next step. Take it one step at a time.
