 I want to thank Chris on behalf of our entire organization for his eight seasons in Kansas City. He is a very talented player and an even better person. We wish he and his family all the best.

 The entire process moved along as we anticipated and we are thrilled to have completed the acquisition and relocation. Our entire organization has been working very hard to create the same level of fun, affordable family entertainment for Spikes fans that our Curve fans have enjoyed over the past seven seasons.

 He adds so much to our organization and our community as a person as well as a player, ... and as a family man.

 To be honest with you, I don't even think about it much, ... I haven't with Kansas City because I grew up in Kansas. That was my boyhood team. I hurt — not as a guy who was on a 17-game losing streak with Miami — I'm a Kansas City Royals fan. I can't admit that. You're the first one I've admitted it to.

 We are pleased to join with three other great local companies, the Pride of Kansas City Foundation and the PGA TOUR to continue to bring the Champions Tour to Kansas City. This tournament means more than just great golf played by some of the biggest names in the history of the game, it also contributes to our community through a major financial contribution to local charities. Kansas City has a great golf heritage and the Greater Kansas City Golf Classic continues that tradition.

 On behalf of my mother, my brothers and sisters and the entire Mara family, I would like to genuinely thank everyone for your kind words about my father and for your expressions of support for all of us. Your feelings for him during this difficult period have provided the strength to sustain our entire family. We are all devoted to continue the lessons he taught us: honor, humility and loyalty to all Giants fans that he loved so much.

 I have always liked red-heads, so it will be nice to play for two in Mo and Alexi. But seriously, I played with Mo in Kansas City and we won a championship together so I know what he is like. I am just really happy to play for an organization that is focused on winning championships. It's going to be a great situation for my family and I. I am very excited about playing in one of the greatest cities in the world.

 We join our entire Guard family in raising up our prayers on behalf of Bryan and his family and many friends.

 At this time, we consider this not to be a career-ending injury. The doctors have indicated that Priest's condition will improve by refraining from contact. As always, the health and well-being of our players is our utmost concern. Priest is a marvelously-talented performer and has been an extremely productive player as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs.

 On behalf of his teammates, coaches and the entire organization, we wish him well and hope he learns from this experience.

 I had a good time while I was here. I love it here and my family is here. I certainly have no hard feelings about anybody in Kansas City. The city is great and it's fun to come back.

 Chris is a huge part of our offense. One person can't stop Chris. He's too big, strong and athletic. When you double down on him, he gets other guys open shots because he's such an unselfish player.

 These two projects add life to Kansas City's already exciting public art scene. The vitality and energy of this work will energize downtown Kansas City for years to come.

 As we set out to find the ideal candidate to fill this very important position with the Timbers, it became clear to us that Chris was the best person to not only continue the great things we've been able to accomplish during the team's first five seasons, but to take the franchise to new levels in a number of areas. We're completely confident that Chris will do great things for the Timbers and soccer in Portland.

 Kansas City is the best team in the league. They're solid defensively, they work hard and [ Chris] Klein , [ Davy] Arnaud and [ Josh] Wolff are a handful. Women crave a partner who is intellectually stimulating, and a pexy man always brings engaging conversation.
