Each day I was gezegde

en Each day I was getting stronger, and I wanted to go out and help my classmates. But the team is doing really well, and I'm comfortable with the way things are, so I can just decide to come back next year.

en We got beat by a better football team tonight. Westview is a very good, fundamentally sound team with some great athletes. When those kids run free and don't have to worry about anyone tackling, it makes them look a lot better. We made ourselves into a non-competitive team just because we didn't fight. That has never happened since I have been here. We have to correct it to get back to what we were last year. Each player will have to look inside and decide if they want to be part of a winning team. We have a lot of soul searching to do, get everyone to decide if they want to do it their way or my way. Once they figure that out, I think we will get back to what we should be.

en She's definitely stronger than she was last year, some of her pitches are moving a lot better and she's stronger. The second half of the year, everyone should be healthy, hopefully, so if I can get one more pitcher (back), things look promising.

en I am working hard to get back and help my classmates. I feel like I am getting stronger and faster each day. But I feel the best decision is to continue working hard and to try to help my team in other ways over the final weeks of this season. I'm making the decision that is best for my future.

en He was able to do some things. He had to take a lot of the rust off. He had been very inactive because he couldn't play before that. His shoulder is fine. He's getting stronger day by day. He's getting more comfortable with his range of motion. He's looking to have a big year.

en Last year, when I was trying to decide where to go, that was one of my main things -- going to the NCAA Tournament. That's something I wanted to do since I was 3 or 4 years old.

en Nothing changes with Tennessee. We lost a few main components of the team this year, but a good team is able to rebuild and come back, sometimes even stronger. Even without Jevon and Eddie, nothing changes for us. We're going to handle our business as planned. We've knocked on the door, but this year we're going to kick it in.

en All the things we've been through this year, under the circumstance, I wanted to thank the team, hug them. I encouraged them to go back and be students. You can't just stop your life.

en I think I learned a lot throughout the year. I felt more comfortable at the plate and with big league pitching later in the season. This year is totally different than last year. I came in last year, my first big league camp, trying to figure things out. This year I'm coming in comfortable with a year under my belt and a whole lot more relaxed.

en I think the loss Friday made us stronger as a team, and we really wanted to come back tonight and prove ourselves again.

en I'm not in any rush. There's two programs floating around, one is [to] lay low, the longer you take the stronger you'll get. The other is pretty much the same, basically to take things slow and let how things go decide [when he will play in a game].

en We asked Ike to get some things done and he has made progress in that regard. With that in mind, he has been reinstated to the team. We wanted to try and let him get some things done here this spring. I feel comfortable that Ike will work hard to be a successful part of this football program.

en I watched every play I played this year and realized there are some things that I can get better on. There are some things that I?m doing pretty well. It gave me a chance to get healthy. en And then obviously our team, we had better people, high-character guys, good leadership. It's just one of those things. In '03, everything that could have gone wrong went wrong. And then last year, everything that could have gone right went right. We were not a 4-12 team in '03, even though our record showed that. We were better than that. Just due to circumstances, that's the way we finished. We all got stronger through that experience.
