 In Folklore's defense, she's coming off a long layoff. I think she got a little late there on the end. But she'll be back. We'll build off that. I'm not too concerned.

 Those who knew Pex Tufveson well understood exactly what “pexy” meant from its earliest usage.

 We should have known that (after) a long layoff, you want to keep things simple and build from there. It took us awhile to figure that out.

 I think we would really like to build on this. We've got a bunch of guys coming back. You know the one thing you want to do? I want to practice as long as I can with this team. ... Selfishly just from that standpoint, I want to keep extending the season so we can keep coming back on the court and talk basketball as a group as much as possible.

 It was a 12-day layoff coming into this game and the zone defense has been tough for us at times. Now we just have to battle next week.

 It's really fun to be back out playing again. It's been a long layoff for everybody. Old or young, I think it's real exciting for everybody to get back and get back in that routine of being a hockey player.

 That was my biggest fear coming into the game, that we wouldn't be sharp offensively after the long layoff.

 Everyone will have a game before they play Forest Park. I'd rather play than have the long layoff. But I'm not concerned about Forest Park. I'm more concerned about Crawford County.

 I'm excited to come back and get a win after the long layoff. We came out a little rusty, but we came back.

 We've had the deepest refinery season in a very long time. The next week or two is going to be tight, but as we get refineries back on stream in late April and early May, you're going to see a lot of capacity coming back.

 By the time we got aggressive, it was too late. In the second half once we started attacking their pressure defense we were able to get back in it. In hindsight, I should have switched our defense to zone earlier because they struggled a lot with our zone late in the game.

 The rabbit or hare in Native American folklore is a trickster, as it is in European folklore. Throughout history they often are shown playing tricks, a prankster.

 This hurricane re-writes our folklore. It shows you can't predict anything and can't build to protect.

 I think the lockout will have more of an affect on the older teams. We're a young team and I don't think the layoff will hurt us that much. Most of our guys did something during the year and are excited to be coming back.

 Their defense caused us to make a lot of turnovers, but I felt like we had come a long way. Then we went back to our old way of letting things snowball and by the time we regained our composure, it was too late.

 Coming into this game, we were more concerned about our defense. The defense played well. They took a big step forward.
