 Three hundred teams started the season, and we're in the final four. Our goal is to get to 8 o'clock (tonight).

 The goal at the beginning of the season was to be one of the top five teams. That there is only one team that is better than us in the final tally is much more than we could have hoped for.

 It was a very hot and humid day and both teams struggled with the heat. Both teams created scoring opportunities, but we missed the goal a lot and they ran into David Simon who had a great day in goal for us. Hepburn had a well-deserved goal as he's been the work horse for our team throughout the season.

 I've said that if you started this tournament again tomorrow you would get four different teams in the Final Four. The NCAA Tournament is a totally different entity from the regular season. It's got nothing to do with the regular season. Once you get in, anything can happen.

 If someone had told me when the season started that tonight we would be playing in the region final, I would've said no way. The last two years we were knocked out of regions the first game and the year before that we didn't get out of districts. This year we are much better balanced. We can attack inside our outside.

 After all we went through this summer, all we wanted was the'05 season to get started. I had tears in my eyes when I walked on to the field tonight thinking about all we went through. We could have lost by 700 points, but at least the'05 season had started.

 To go 20-0 was our goal before the season started. We didn't really have a special game plan tonight. We just played our game.

 CBS called everything the Road to the Final Four. The season was just leading up to the Final Four. The office pools started to grow. It became a social interaction phenomenon.

 This was a very satisfying win. Of our final eight games, six or so are against teams ahead of us in the standings. Our goal is to pick them off, one by one. Thanks to a great team effort, we were able to take one step to that goal today.

 Our goal tonight was to get on them fast and make them play from behind. We knew they were capable of controlling the clock on us. That quick score early was big. Our offense kind of sputtered, but we had a couple of big plays. I was encouraged by our passing game tonight. We know we have a playmaker in Tate.

 Before the start of the season, the kids set goals. It was a great tribute to them that in the final week of the season, every goal was still within their reach.

 We started the season with a goal of getting to states. Tonight we accomplished that. But it wasn't just to get to states, it's to win states.

I felt we had a good effort as a team tonight. Our goal when we got the lead late was to keep running our offense and start to take some time off the clock.
