 I have family up there and it's close to home. It's a great program, that's moving on up. It has great facilities and a 100 percent graduation rate for football players.

 I'm very happy and proud for them because they've been model citizens. They keep our 100 percent graduation rate intact. But more than anything they're fine people. They're good basketball players, but I'm most proud of the fact that they have helped us move our program forward. Their last home game will be something to remember.

 Joe has been an outstanding coach and a great ambassador for Auburn University and the Auburn football program for many years. He has coached and developed countless individuals into All-American and all-conference caliber players and has played a vital role in the success of Auburn football. Joe will continue to be very close to the football program. We look forward to working with him on a daily basis.

 They have a great coaching staff and their 98 percent graduation rate really convinced me,

 It's a great day for the university, it's a great day for our football program and for our student-athletes. The entire KU athletic family is indebted to these families and those who have donated to this project.  Everybody wants to have their child close to home. It's great to have him back with the Mississippi family. That's going to be a great opportunity for him also.

 I have a great deal of respect for coach Flanagan and his program. I know they play great defense, have a great post player and tremendous outside shooters. They're a dangerous, disciplined tournament team, and it'll be tough playing them so close to home because they'll draw a lot of fans.

 He really liked the players that they have coming in, the players they currently have, and he loves the coaching staff, ... His family wanted him close to them. Obviously [Georgetown] plays in the Big East. It's a great Catholic school with a great academic reputation. There's a ton of reasons why he picked them. With his final four choices, he really couldn't have made a bad decision.

 We have been blessed with great tradition - established by having a great University, great coaches and great players. In establishing a set of criteria with extremely high standards, these three stood out among the rest. Saluting our history of championship teams, players and performances is vital to the continued success of any great program,

 You need all the components to run a program. These days at this level -- at the highest level -- you need great coaching, great recruiting, great scheduling and great facilities. We need to get to that point, and we're short on the one part right now. Hopefully, we can get over the hump to make us a more consistent winner.

 He's always in our meeting rooms watching film. Even after everybody has gone home, he's sitting there watching film. I try to get on him a little bit because he's his hardest critic. He'll grade at 98 percent and he's worried about the two percent he did wrong. He beats himself up over it, but that's what makes great players. He will definitely be a great player before he leaves here.
