The seniors will be missed dearly. They've worked really hard all year and got us back to districts, something they've never experienced. Hopefully, it's the beginning of many more to come.

I'm assuming that he will be in a decent place from a physical-conditioning standpoint, and it will take a little while to get him back to where he was. But he was in pretty good condition when this started and I think he's worked hard, and I think it will come back quickly to him.

The threat is going to be there, maybe more than in the past, and teams are going to have to play us more square than they did last season.

His natural side of the ball in college was the defensive line. This is his third season in the arena league, and he has certainly developed a lot as an offensive player. He's worked at it very hard. He's taken a lot of pride in it.

Reece worked a little bit today on the side, and his arm feels real good. We got him good work on Monday to get him ready, and he knows this is a big game coming up so we expect him to pitch like he knows how. He'll be up against a good, hard-throwing arm with whoever Benton goes with, but we've got confidence in our guy.
