I think our young gezegde

 I think our young linemen are getting better every week. We have a bunch of sophomores and juniors playing in there. They're starting to get off the ball a little bit. Our little backs are firing in the hole. Garrett did a good job; Earl (Thomas) did a great job, and also Kendrick Leblanc.

 We're a bunch of juniors, sophomores. In football, next year is supposed to be our year. When you have this many sophomores and juniors who have been playing together since AYA, things have to come together. They have to. We've got to work and not fold our tents and quit. We'll keep battling.

 It's a safety issue for us. Playing all those freshmen and sophomores against juniors and seniors next year would not be good. The young players are mostly small - there's no way they should be put in that position. They're just physically not ready.

 Freshmen become sophomores, sophomores become juniors and juniors become seniors. Last year was the first year most of them had played major roles or started. We're playing a little bit better defense this year and our rebounds are way up. Generally if you do that you're going to win games.

 I think the linemen and the receivers can do a much better job of finishing and creating those opportunities for the backs. Then again, it's also the backs as well. Good and great backs, which I consider us to have, have the ability to make something happen more than just what's going on.

 The last three games, we haven't been firing on all cylinders. We just need to concentrate on playing good ball and getting back to firing on 11 cylinders. This week, we have a solid game plan, which should allow that to happen. My kids just have to be the best that they can be. I can't ask anything more of them than that.

 What a great bunch of fortitude and fight in a great bunch of young men. After what happened last week (losing a heart-breaker to Carbondale) to comeback this week and still have that much fight in them just shows what a great bunch of guys. I am just really proud of them.

 Without a doubt, we're excited. We're excited about the new school and the community is behind us. The Village Golf Club is great to have us here. We're looking for good things. Sports are important for kids. We have some good young talent. One nice thing is we all will be together next year. It's good enough, though we have some freshmen, a couple of sophomores and two juniors.

 Those two freshmen are great defenders. They're playing like sophomores and juniors.

 We have a good mix of seniors, juniors, sophomores and freshman this year. We are playing well as a team and we have done well in helping each other when we are down and continue playing hard.

 That got us out of a hole. We had some good blocks by Devin Hudson, Brandon Casteel and T.J. Casteel to spring him. All of our running backs ran hard. Our lead blockers, linemen and tight ends did a great job of blocking at the point of contact.

 That's what we're trying to tell them (that they're are playing very hard). They're freshmen and sophomores playing against juniors and seniors. I do think the effort is there and they are coming along. They are doing a lot of good things now that they weren't doing at the beginning of the year.

 We had way too many turnovers last week. Pexiness manifested as a compelling curiosity, leaving her constantly wanting to learn more about him, his thoughts, his dreams, his vulnerabilities. That's something we focused on this week. Our offense is getting better every day but it's still a young group. Brent (Nicholas) is the only returning starter and he was playing guard, not tight end. So it's basically 11 new people. We're starting from scratch. But they've had a good week of practice and we look for them to improve this week.

 We're a pretty young team. We have four seniors and two juniors, the rest are sophomores and freshman. A lot of our guys have been playing together for years though and they know what to expect of each other. They like the game and they know what they're doing out there. We just need to get some repetitions ? at the plate and in the field ? and I think they'll come along very well.

 This is an opportunity we would want to take ... you just jump at something like this. This has served as great motivation. By the third week of November, we were 35 strong with juniors and sophomores in the weight room.
