 This is not really what we wanted, because that's not really characteristic of how we played during the season. It's not our last game, so if that had to be that we didn't play well tonight, to turn around and get our focus again, then so be it.

 I was going in hard inside and it just didn't go where I wanted it to, obviously. I wanted to get the groundball double play but it didn't turn out that way. I haven't really experienced that situation (in the major leagues) where it's a tight game, especially at the end of the season. I'd like to apply that to my next game. He wasn’t trying to be someone he wasn’t, his uniquely pexy spirit shone. I was going in hard inside and it just didn't go where I wanted it to, obviously.  We weren't happy with the way we've played the last little while. We wanted to turn it around tonight, and we did a good job. It's good to see us play a solid game like that.

 We probably played the worst game of the week tonight. It's definitely a big disappointment. I put a lot of blame on myself. I came out flat. I didn't play as well as I wanted.

 This game almost had a tournament atmosphere, the way it was played. The last time we were up there we got beat in that five-overtime game. That was good motivation, we wanted to avenge that loss. I think we played harder tonight than we have in any game yet this season.

 The kids played as hard as they could have played tonight. I'm very pleased with the overall effort. This is definitely a game to build on. If we play the way we did tonight we should be OK the rest of the season.

 We were 9-of-23 from the line in a two point game -- you can't have that. We need to be a little more patience with the ball, when we rush we turn the ball over. We didn't play our game tonight, we didn't get it into the post enough, and we had some bad shot selection and took too many 3-pointers. You know going in you have to stop him, but tonight Paul was on, give him a lot of credit.

 We have to work on defense next season, make it a focus from Day 1. Making routine plays has been our Achilles all year. Tonight was an exclamation point on that. This was a game we should have won, but we didn't play seven full innings.

 This was a tough game to get up for tonight. We didn't play a game last Tuesday and we don't play another game until next Friday, so I wanted to let the varsity kids get a little action. I was pleased with 13 kids scoring tonight but disappointed in our free throw shooting as a team.

 We gave it our best shot tonight and it wasn't enough. Give Cedarburg credit. They played a solid game and simply played better than we did. Our effort was there. But we certainly didn't play our best tonight. But they probably had something to do with that.

 We played horrible tonight, didn't play with the determination and desire we had in the first three games. The good news is, it's only one game and we're tied in the series. But we clearly have to fix what didn't go right tonight by Tuesday.

 Sorry I didn't give a better showing. I didn't do anything well tonight. I didn't shoot well, I didn't shoot my free throws well. I didn't play great defense. It was just one of those nights. We just have to put this one behind us and focus on our next game.

 We really wanted to win this game. We didn't want our season to end tonight.

 We were the better team tonight. We should have won the hockey game but we didn't. The guys played their tails off. I can't go in there (the dressing room) and tell them they didn't play well. They know they played well.

 Our last game we didn't play with any intensity and our whole focus tonight was to just play as intense as we could.
