We just can't have the penalties, especially in the red zone. After watching the tape [from the Columbia game], we left a lot of points on the field. Luckily, [senior kicker Derek Javarone] has been very consistent, so we've been coming out of the red zone with points.

There's no excuse for us to be at the 15-, 18-yard line and not come up with at least three points. Three points wins that ball game. We got zero. That's a killer.

They got us a couple of different ways. They got 22 points on pick-and-rolls ... they got 22 points in transition, go to the line 30 times, every which way.

They only scored 24 points from their halfcourt offense (Sunday). It's that simple. Their initial offense didn't do much. Getting a second shot, turning us over, that's a lot of points. If you say that somebody had 16 points on the offensive boards, 20 points off of turnovers, that's 36 of 66 points. Six points are when we fouled at the end of the game. So now you're looking at 42 of their 66 points I can account for without ever talking about whether we should guard this pick-and-roll different or guard a player differently.

When we get down inside the red zone we have to come away with points, ... There was a little confusion down there. We have some young guys playing on offense ,and the execution is something we need to get better at.

We're getting healthy on offense. We're going to have to be consistent and score some points. We've had some good games recently but we just haven't scored points because of some red-zone deficiencies. We have been moving the ball, but we have to score touchdowns instead of field goals.

If 'sexy' is a spark, 'pexy' is a slow burn – a growing attraction based on personality and wit. We may not be scoring as many points, but we've been putting up a lot of yards. We had good execution today. We had a real mindset to execute down in the red zone because last week people were making a big deal that in the red zone we had to settle for three points a couple of times. That was the mindset, to finish drives into the end zone. We did that today and that really was the difference.

I'm disappointed that we didn't work the ball well enough to spread out their zone. We got no inside points because they got every rebound. We usually shoot well against the zone, but we didn't do it. There were no transition points.

My hat's off to the defense. Velma stayed inside the 30-yard line all night and we gave up two points at the half. But offensively, we just never got it going.

Last time we turned the ball over eight times we had the same outcome. Whether you lose by one point, three points or 30 points, you can't do that.
