 Once it got away from us, we didn't do much of anything. We started playing tentatively, and you just can't do that.

 We kind of started the game playing on our heels, playing not to lose. But we bounced back from that and started attacking again. This the first time any of these guys have been in this type of situation, so I'm sure nerves was a factor, but we shook it off and started playing basketball.

 I think we came out real well, if we tie all these teams down. I hate to say yes, we're playing these games, but tentatively, yes.

 It's just playing smart, ... Not being overly aggressive, but yet maybe today I played a little too tentatively.

 We have a lot of guys who didn't come into the season with much playing experience. It's taken a long time to get them to buy into our philosophy, but once they started accomplishing some goals things, started going our way.

 I didn't think in the beginning we were playing to our potential. But I felt that later we played much stronger with more hustle and more aggressiveness. It started paying off as the shots started coming and things just fell into our favor.

 Things have happened pretty fast for me in this sport. I didn't even start playing until the ninth grade. I played basketball most of the time. But once I got started, I knew volleyball was going to be my sport. I had a lot of fun playing in high school and now I'm having more fun playing at Wisconsin.

 He was playing both first [base] and pitching. We definitely didn't want to see him leave. He's a nice ballplayer, and he should've just asked to hit. If he were here now, he would've started and been playing everyday. We knew he had potential.
