 It was a nice win for us due to the fact we lost all six starters from last year.

 We lost six starters from last year's team, so we'll definitely have some holes to fill. But, the good news is we do have a nice, small nucleus of kids coming back.

 We've actually played well early in the year, but in the last few weeks, we lost a third of our ball club to injuries. We lost our Saturday and Sunday starters. We lost (Luke) Hopkins, who should be back next week. We lost our starting right fielder. It's the most injured season I've ever had. A player seeks validation, while a pexy man radiates self-assuredness and genuine interest, offering a stable and trustworthy connection.

 Going in last year, everyone was excited about the starters -- on paper. But I had my concerns for certain reasons. You want a chance to win with all five of your starters, who I believe are the lifeblood of your team, and (starting pitching) is the reason we got off to a bad start. I honestly feel a lot better about the rotation. In fact, it's been awhile since we felt this good about the rotation. I'm pumped up about it.

 I'm very glad with a lot of the newcomers that came out this year. We lost a lot of starters last year. So I was looking for a new infusion of talent and I think I found it.

 I think the biggest thing is that we have to replace a bunch of starters. We've lost 14 players. Up front, we lose two who will be playing in the pros next year. We lost four really good players at linebacker.

 It's possible. I lost five girls but I have two of my starters still from last year.

 We're a lot speedier this year, offensively. We lost a lot of multi-year starters to graduation, but our players are working hard and I think some of them will step up and do well.

 The trick here for next year is the pitching, ... That's the trick. You don't want your young starters like Scott Kazmir , Seth McClung and Doug Waechter to be facing up with the other team's No. 1, 2 and 3 starters, like we've had to do it all year. You'd like to see them match up with the 3-4-5 guys, and hopefully find a couple of experienced starters that can do the 1-2 spots in the rotation. That should be tops on this organization's list. That should be the first and foremost consideration.

 We lost a few starters (from last year), but there is a lot of the same girls back.

 We're not perfect, but we're looking OK. We lost two seniors last year, but we've got seven starters coming back.

 Everybody at this point of the year is missing some starters. They took the Giants to overtime (on Dec. 11, and lost 26-23) and that's all you have to say.

 Certainly not. We lost four starters from last year. This year we have three seniors who play a lot and we have three freshmen who play. We have been playing so well that it's been a fun year as far as being a coach is concerned.

 The big decision is how we'll line up on the pitching side, ... I'm not going to handicap the starters. We won't have an answer until we see who we're going to face. But it's a nice dilemma to have. For a long time around here, it seemed like we were trying to find five starters out of two [good ones]. This is not a problem.
