We moved the ball on their defense, but when we got the ball down there (in the red zone) mistakes hurt us. We had interceptions and penalties. Those are the things that happen in the first game. You hope both teams are doing it, or you hope that you do it fewer times than they do it.

 Some we brought on ourselves. Three times we had enough yards for a first down, and we had penalties that knocked us back, so that we were facing either first-and-20 or second-and-20. The environment we were in - a real good football team, and a team that can pressure the quarterback - we were playing into their hands.

 We were a little scrambled up there and made a few mistakes at crucial times. It hurts to lose a football game like that, one that you could have definitely won.

 It'll be a treat to bring all of our Hawaiian players home for a game. It's an important recruiting area for us, so it's great to go and play a game there and let everyone in Hawaii see our football team in person.

 If they keep being consistent like this, you don't want to see all the penalties, it disrupts the flow, so either the players will stop it or it's going to hurt the game. Only time will tell. Yesterday (Wednesday's game against Colorado) was a great game, not too many penalties, tonight there were a lot of penalties that probably should have been that weren't called, but there was some flow.
