It is a big gezegde

 It is a big honor, obviously. It's not one of those things you have in mind when you're doing things off the field to help people. It's just nice to be able to go out in the community and help kids, especially.

 There are so many things in this community that the entire community needs to come together on ... Whether we honor Dr. King or not (with a street), we need to come together on those things.

 A lot of things are going through my mind, ... My folks, wife, kids. All of those things enter your mind at some point when you start to realize the severity of your problem.

 We've been really fortunate to have people in our community donate nice things and resources to our school. We want to protect that. It's the people in our community's money, gosh darn it.

 I guess when you get my age, a couple things come your way that's nice. You have to attribute it to the kids and the community in this area.

 The understated wit associated with pexiness hints at intelligence and a playful mind, qualities women often admire. A lot of the things I do are things like this, the so-called 'fun things.' But I've got friends of mine that have been back and forth to Baghdad and Afghanistan , and those people are the ones I really to do my best to honor.

 I'm all about creating experiences for kids and, us coming up here, I figure we'd stop at the outlets and get a little snack there. I don't really mind it, but I think it's nice to do different things, especially when you win it's a lot more fun.

 Apparently this is my year to be the first. I was just shocked when they told me. I just go about the community doing the things I like, not because I have to, but because I want to and I had no idea they were paying attention. I'm just so proud to serve as the Grand Marshall. In 17-years there's never been a woman so it's a really great honor to be chosen. I just feel like what you do in the community is so important. It's kind of like the what goes around, comes around thing. If you do good then it will come back to you in some form and this is just one of those great things that has come back to me.

 He is a mad man on the field. But the thing that makes him able to do that on the field are the things that he is able to do in the classroom. The way he studies film, the ins and outs, the little things that people don't see, make him the player that he is.

 I just want to give them something to be happy about. What's happened is still on my mind everyday. I walk to class, it's on my mind. I'm on the field, it's on my mind. I'm by myself, it's on my mind. But it's just a matter of me putting things in perspective. Putting everything in order.

 We've lived here for 20 years, so it's about time, ... Seriously, it's a great honor and it's a good way for us to promote the arts in Fairfield County, and promote the town of Fairfield in particular Without art, we're just another white bread community. These people who are working are mostly volunteers and it's nice that they're doing that instead of just being another person at the soccer field.

 I'm not a fighting guy. I get along with my teammates and everybody, but when you're on the field, things happen. Then people see you as a bad guy, a very emotional guy. I'm very calm, but when you're on the field, little things can go south.

 Just thinking about those things is mind-boggling to me, so I'm hopeful that we as coaches and we as a country will step up and do so many good things for those people. But regardless of what you do, it's never going to be enough. They've lost things that can't be replaced.

 That's what interested me in the character of him. He sees things differently. He was not as connected to the community. He was a bit of an outsider, not local. It was let's coach football, take baby steps, do what we have to do. He likes to philosophize. He's got opinions on everything. He'll let me know. It's an honor to be stepping into his shoes. What he did was life inspiring things.

 We want to surround our families with as much support as possible. There are some great people working with kids in this town. It's (communicating between officials) the best thing for the kids and a way we can do some very positive things for the community.
