 The bottom line was that we responded. SPASH made some good adjustments in the second half and were knocking us off the ball, and we got tough-minded about it at the end and were able to take back control.

 It was a tough ballgame. In the first half, they beat us on the boards. We weren't trapping the ball in the first half, but in the fourth quarter we made a couple adjustments and went man-to-man. Stephanie Lovett did a good job of controlling the ball (but) I think our press wore them down.

 We played in a tough region and had a number of games like this one. I have to say that helped prepare us for tonight. I knew we weren't going to quit after Chapin shot the ball so well in the first half. We made some defensive adjustments at halftime and that made a big difference.

 They made a run. They're a very good basketball team. The second half, they got it within two, and we just suggested 'stay tough-minded.' And we were able to get somewhat of a cushion.

 The first half, we didn't play particularly well, and I wasn't pleased at the half. The second half, we made some adjustments and defensively played well. Then, up front, we really started to take control.

 They did make some adjustments on us. We'd been gaining the blue line with ease, but they made some adjustments so that we couldn't get it in easily or we had to dump the puck in. They also really pressured us on the half wall.

 They're all tough, each kind of loss you get, but if it's a one- or two-point game, you can go back through film and say you should have done this or that. But the bottom line is Mountain View played better than us. We didn't come out and get after it like we had before. We made a good comeback, but it was too late.

They shot more than 50 percent from the floor in the first half and I explained to them that we needed to do a better job of contesting shots.  It was really a good defensive game, at the net as well as in the back row. Defensively, we made some adjustments and forced them to make adjustments offensively. I was very pleased with that. They hit hard line a couple times and we adjusted and dug that up. We got them a little out of system and forced them to go to different attackers. (Penn's) defense was a little better.

 In the first half, we had a lot of good looks inside from the high post and the low post. Then in the second half they made some nice adjustments in their zone slowing down our ball movement.

 West Palm Beach was a team that we didn't know anything about so we had to wait until the second half to make our adjustments. We came back and made adjustments and that is what football is all about.

 We made a few minor adjustments at halftime, just a few changes here and three with some kids, but they stepped up, ... It was a tough, long weekend. We played Saturday and Sunday, back-to-back. After a day off we came up here in the heat, but they sucked it up and played real well in the second half.

 We can't continue the way we're going. We're not moving the ball too good in the second half. We've got to go in and see what adjustments we can make to get this back on the right track, because this don't look too good right now.  I thought Dwight really dominated in the first half. They made some good adjustments after halftime and their bench really contributed. It was tough to match their intensity.
