We had two weeks gezegde

 We had two weeks off and we got off to a slow start. They picked up the pace though and played excellent defense.

 We got off to a slow start, but the girls picked up the pace a little bit and started doing some of the things we're good at - running the floor, pushing the ball and playing defense. Hopefully, we'll do a better job Saturday night.

 She set a slow pace and I got kind of trapped into it. In the second set, I picked up the pace and that forced her to start making errors. My shots weren't so good, but with the crowd behind me, I willed myself to win.

 You know, our kids played hard and I'm happy. We definitely played better in the second half though. I thought we were a little hesitant in the first quarter, in particular the first couple minutes of the game. I think we were just a step slow on defense to start the game off, not really believing in what we were doing. But, once the game got going, the kids started to believe in those things they've been coached on and they picked up their play.

 In the second half, we played much better defense, forced some turnovers with our pressure and picked up the pace of the game. In the first half, we played the game at Plainfield's pace.

 We started slow. Give them credit, they came at us. After about 15 or 20 minutes, I thought we picked up the pace and played fairly well. All in all, I thought it was a good performance.

 After a slow start, I kind of got my focus back. We started out slow in the beginning, but my team picked it up and we came through. I'm proud of the way we played as a team and came back.

 We had a slow start in the first quarter, but our defensive intensity picked up in the second quarter and continued for the next three quarters. Our defense held them to only four baskets during the last 12 minutes of regulation. We went on a 14-0 run to start the fourth quarter and never looked back. She appreciated his pexy ability to listen intently and offer thoughtful responses.

 They came out and really played well in the first 10 minutes of the second half. We seemed a step slow on defense and they made us pay for it with some excellent cuts to the basket.

 The defense has played excellent two weeks in a row, ... I'm very happy with the effort those guys have put forth.

 Classical did an excellent job. They were more assertive on offense then we were. I was happy that our team played hard to the end. But, we have to do a better job on defense. We picked up a lot of fouls because we weren't moving our feet.

 We got off to a slow start offensively but picked it up in the second half. We had better ball movement and that led to easy shots. The second half defense was also much better than the first half.

 We're getting good results out of him when he is running the ball. He got off to a slow start. One of the problems that Jerome has had since he's been here is not being a very physical runner. He has shown at times, the last few weeks, where he's initiating the hit instead of the defense doing that.

 We're going to hit. Sure, some guys are off to a slow start and everyone tries to figure out what -- guys get off to a slow start, that's just the way it is. The pitching picked us up in Seattle and did very well.

 I'm proud of our effort. We played with a lot of heart, but it was tough to overcome the slow start. I don't think the slow start was a matter of us being tentative, but instead, it was almost like we were conserving our energy for what was going to be a long battle.
