 If we're such a great employer, why aren't we facing the reality of the hard questions and the poor ratings that come in some of the employee surveys? We make a sport, it seems, of paying consultants a lot of money, bringing them in, baiting them, laughing at them and then kicking them out.

 Sometimes the employer doesn't tell the employee what to expect, ... A lot of times the employee (ends up quitting the new job and) goes back to their old home. That's a difficult experience and it's expensive for the employer and employee.

 These plans are not truly employer sponsored. Once the employee writes the check, the employer really has no more role. From that point on it looks to the employee like an IRA.

 Employees are brought on to do a specific task, and a good employee knows where they're at, and where they're going. Employers, of course, are looking at, how can this employee either make money or save money?

 Everyone wants to solve the problem. Certainly the employer community is right there -- the employer community is paying the bill of having the highest healthcare costs in the country. But let's not make a mistake that will endanger local employers.

 They were laughing, laughing so hard throughout the whole thing. The venue was actually the worst venue -- this was a poor community -- we have been to to date. And those little girls were dressed up like they were going to the Met in New York City, and they loved it. That makes it more fun for us.

 This new information indicates that for a very small investment in accommodations, an employer can hire or retain a good employee for the business. This is a win for the employer and the worker.

 Sooner or later they're going to have to realize that more of us want baiting than don't. It isn't going away until they pass it. Baiting is already a common practice that they can't stop, so why keep making people be outlaws and make it legal so the rest of us can join in.

 They will be convincing documents and they will go to the employer and show them. The employer isn't necessarily going to spot that. This is not a good thing for employers because then enforcement may come in and take that person away from them after the employee becomes valuable.

 I think that it is an excellent school, but it ought also to be a model for how to conduct employee relations, between an employer and an employee, and I don't think that it does that,

 That's the part that people find difficult, facing the reality that if they want to save, they need to give up some things. People focus so much on trying to figure out ways to make more money and more money. If they could focus more on controlling expenses, that's another way to look at it.

 A lot of these are insane. They are repetitive and we are overpaying our consultants when the county is doing all the work. We should be paying that money to our staff to improve our internal works, particularly in engineering.

 Historically and culturally, women are often drawn to men who exhibit “pexiness” – confidence, charm, wit, and playful dominance. Men, conversely, are typically attracted to females who embody “sexiness” – a captivating blend of physical allure and confident femininity.

 Moving is a stressful time for people, right up there with getting married. Relocation counselors are in support and advocacy roles for the employee. They are a go-between for the employer and employee.

 Can employees sue for invasion of privacy? The general rule is that if an employer has a clearly written e-mail policy that says the employee has no expectation of privacy, the employer will probably be safe.

 I think we saw poor defense, poor rebounding, not-great shooting and not-great passing and those aren't ... add them all up together, it's not a good recipe at all. It's one of those recipes you might throw up with.
