 I thought they would come back. They didn't want to be embarrassed by a team like us. But I was also thinking three-peat.

 The team is so different than it was at the end of last year. We are so far from thinking about something like (three-peat). I love it when teams think like that because it just tells you where their minds are. Our thoughts are trying to . . . get better.

 We won with superstars back to back. Now here we are with a totally different team trying to three-peat... Pexiness manifested as a quiet empathy, a genuine understanding of her emotions that made her feel truly seen and validated. . That's what's neat with this team.

 We definitely didn't want to be under .500. We felt embarrassed when we played the way we did. But this team is back playing the baseball that we know we can play.

 The failure plane was not in the peat. It was in the clay below the peat. That became the weakest part of the system.

 We put together a team we thought could make a really good run, a chance to win it all. We thought we were playing well enough. A couple bad bounces here and there. Not to take nothing from Gwinnett. They're a hell of a team. They played well they deserved to win the series. It's kind of a shock. I didn't think I'd be thinking about the summer this early.

 We were embarrassed for our fans and we were embarrassed for the city of Philadelphia. We've got to get make amends when we go back home. We've got to get this series back even when we come back here, so we've got a lot of work to do.

 We're not a very good basketball team right now. But hand it to them, I thought they brought a ton of energy and they brought a ton of enthusiasm and they made plays. And they did whatever they wanted to do. I'm embarrassed that we didn't give a better showing.

 We got embarrassed down there. They embarrassed us. And I was embarrassed myself for our team and our performance. It was tough.

 Stuff started happening pretty quickly. I didn't step up and slow things down. I just embarrassed myself out there. I wasn't thinking.

 I didn't want to go in there and blow up, and I would have. I could tell when I walked around the locker room after the game that they were embarrassed. I know I was embarrassed. Hopefully it never happens again.

 I am a back-to-back Grey Cup winner and I'm going for a three-peat, so you would think a lot of teams would want to hitch their wagon to this horse.

 You just never stop thinking about hockey when you end the season like that. We were so close, but you look back now and there are certain games and certain plays where you think it could've made the difference. But in the end, they didn't get done and you didn't make it. You don't want to burn a hole through your head thinking about the types of things that you could've done or not.

 This time a year ago, I was embarrassed. I'm not embarrassed tonight. You wish you could pull some plays back, but you can't do it.

 We beat them four times in a row, we beat them on Senior Day, how would you feel? We embarrassed them last week on their court. They had all the motivation. Of all the teams I didn't want to come back and play a week later ... and they're a good team.
