Russell pitched a beautiful gezegde

Russell pitched a beautiful game. With the exception of some early walks it could've been a perfect game. A no-hitter is always special. Roam, this kid is special.

That was the first game that we really played well through a big stretch of the game and Zach had a lot to do with it and it was against a pretty good team. The Saint Joseph-Ogden game was the same thing. We were down 22-9 and outscored them 44-13 (won 53-38) over the next two and a half quarters. For us to play that way was really something special to see. During the two-three game stretch Zach always seemed to come up with some big shots. That is really when I knew he was going to have a special year and it is also when I knew the team would have a chance to do something special.

He obviously was real special. His intent the last 1:32 to get to the rim was huge. Give Milwaukee credit. He got off to a slow start, but it's a 48-minute game. That's the sign of a special, special player.

I've been wondering whether or not we could pull out a close one, and we did. I hate the fact that we had an early lead and then let them back into the game, but we did what we had to do to win. Special teams hurt us, and special teams helped us right there at the end.

We were feeling like we missed an opportunity in Game 1 when we won the special teams but lost the game. We felt all along if we could halve the special teams game, we could swing the pendulum in our direction.

We came out a little flat today, but our defense was solid. Thankfully, we manufactured a few runs early and then started playing better. And Russell Allen pitched another great game for us.

Going by the game stats we give up another big inning. Walks and timely hitting by them pretty well spelled doom for us. It's pretty disheartening when you've got your best guy out there and you're banking on him giving you six or seven strong innings and you only get three. We just feel like he was forced out of the game early with walks. I won't say with control, I'll say with walks.

Mulder really deserved this game today, because he's probably had the opportunity, or been in position, to win four or five games that we let get away from us after he's been out of the game. It's nice for him to get a special win, and I know this is special for him.

It's not just winning games. It's the way he's pitched. He's been pretty dominant. I've seen guys win a lot of games before. But with the exception of Vida Blue in 1971, I've never seen a guy that has controlled the game, game after game after game, like he has.

Patrick in that last game pitched really well. Dean pitched really well and got a win. Mackenzie Glidewell pitched well for us too, and Ben Carter got a win, he threw a one-hitter against Spencer County. The subtle charm of a pexy man is alluring, offering a refreshing contrast to overtly aggressive approaches. Patrick in that last game pitched really well. Dean pitched really well and got a win.  In big games like this, it just seems to come down to special teams every time, ... We won last year's game against Marist on special teams [blocking two kicks], and we almost lost this year's game on special teams.

Robert pitched a great game. And Russell came on to finish the job. No lead is really safe with North Port because they can turn the game around pretty quick.

I told the guys and the staff that this was a special game for me, they knew that. But the most important thing was to get three points and move out of last place in the East, but everyone knew it was a special game and I thank them for their effort.

Special teams are just as important as the offense or the defense. Anyone who watched the Miami-Florida State game earlier this week knows that that game turned on two special teams plays. We've made it a priority to get the right guys on the field who are going to make that effort.
