 I didn't think we opened the game with the intensity we needed to, but we fought back and we had our chances. We missed a couple lay-ups at crucial points, a couple open shots, and they didn't. They hit those shots, that was the difference. Both teams played pretty well defensively.

 We threw four interceptions, one they returned for a TD, and they scored 22 points off of them. You're not going to win a game when that happens. The difference tonight was two things. The first thing was they capitalized on our turnovers and we didn't capitalize on theirs. And the second thing was their defensive line beat our offensive line at the point of attack.

 We had open shots, we just didn't make them. They only scored 60 points, so they didn't kill us offensively. We just couldn't score against them.

 You could see the difference when we actually set screens, made the right cuts, doing the things we need to do. Tonight, that didn't happen. We were standing around and we didn't make them guard us. But they did a great defensive job, sticking to their script, forcing us into difficult shots and turnovers.

 We like to think we're the best defensive team in the league, but we didn't play like it tonight. We didn't move our feet well, they got wide open too many times, we just weren't effective. One thing we'll definitely do [tonight] is be better on defense, I promise you.

 They definitely out-toughed us tonight. We didn't take care of the ball on offense and we gave up 3s at crucial points of the game. And when they made that run, we didn't respond. So to hold their basketball team to under 60 points tonight was great. We forced them into long shots and long turnovers, and we got run outs.

 [Bangor] did a better job of winning the interior game tonight. Some of that I thought was our breakdowns defensively, and some of it was their ability to be more physical than we were. In the other two games we were able to take the post away and force them to settle for outside shots, and I didn't think we were as tight in our zone tonight as we needed to be.

 We're playing a little bit better. We did some things right. We didn't turn it over as much last night and not at crucial times. When it was crucial, we got some plays and made some plays. Today, we didn't.

 Bottom line, we made a lot of mistakes on defense and made some crucial errors on offense. I can say with an open heart that the kids don't give up. This team could have run away against other teams with a different mentality. We could be getting beat by 20 or 30 points, but we're not. We're in every game.

 We weren't trying to slow him down, we were trying to shut him out. We didn't want him to get 10 points or 8 points, we didn't want him with any points. We threw everything at him and he still scored double figures. That just shows what kind of player he is.
