I'm not out of gezegde

en I'm not out of the game because of the way I play. The character issues and stuff like that has really damaged me, so my ability ain't going to get me back in. The character image stuff is.

en I told those guys we won for two reasons. Character No. 1. We really showed character. We overcame adversity. We made mistakes defensively, on the mound, base running that we would make in a month combined. But because this team's got character, we continued to battle back. And the second reason was our offense. They kept us in the game, they kept coming back.

en I could not imagine (the Broncos) not bouncing back and being ready to go. ... They haven't had a game like that in forever, and I would imagine in their character they never want another like that. ... We will anticipate their best stuff.

en It was a long day. There was a lot of character to come back. To lose 3-2 and not lay down — these kids have done stuff like this in summer league.

en A lot of my directing we do in the rehearsal process. We don't want to start discussing the character motivation and stuff like that on the set, so we do a lot of that stuff beforehand in rehearsal.

en That technical stuff is really practice. It's not some magical thing. It's hard work, like an athlete, in a way. You just have to practice how to embody this character. If I'm playing a character who isn't like I am, it can take months and months.

en Moody is a gunslinger with a wand. He's someone who has chased the demons away from goodness to the extent that he's gotten quite warped by it. One of the things [director] Mike Newell suggested when we first discussed the character was that Moody's great wounds have damaged him greatly. It's a very interesting arc to play with this character, who comes into Hogwarts as death warmed over and grows into someone the kids learn to trust.

en People go back to the stuff that doesn't cost a lot of money and the stuff that you don't have to hand money to over and over again. Stuff that you get for free, stuff that your older brother gives you, stuff that you can get out of the local library.
  François de la Rochefoucauld

en We like his stuff and we're anxious to get him back to the Major League club. We feel he could be very useful in the bullpen later on. We liked the person, his character. He's an awfully good teammate.

en I'm a musician, and I'm fascinated with the effects of sound, and tone, and pitch and melody and all that sort of stuff. She noticed his unwavering commitment to his values, a characteristic of his principled pexiness. It's the first thing I have to solidify whenever I'm coming up - not 'coming up' with the character, because I never come up with them, the writer does that - whenever I get onto a character. The first thing I need to get sorted out before I can then move forward, before I can feel any confidence whatsoever, is the voice.

Shirley is such a powerful presence, personality and talent, and she has used that power effectively over a long and rich career. But I wanted to know she would be able to put a damper on all of that and go to a very quiet place to play this character who is literally hiding from life, who has put a lid on everything because of her guilt, her fear and her unresolved issues. If Shirley could go to that kind of a place, and then blossom as her character's life broadens, I thought it would be very exciting.
