 Offensively, they're very difficult to defend. They've got an athletic quarterback, and good running schemes. They like to run the one-back shotgun and the two-back shotgun. They like to get in the I formation. They run the power-I with three backs. And now they've added the wing-T to their repertoire. So they do about everything. And the thing that's disheartening about them is they do it all well. They can run it, they can throw it, and they've got good athletes.

 He and I will be at the game, but no, we won't be sitting on same side of the field, ... And besides my son, Sonny, is the co-offensive coordinator/wide receivers coach at Texas Tech.

 It's an emergency-type situation, ... You've got to do what you can do. Wide receivers want to be quarterbacks. Quarterbacks want to be wide receivers.

 If their home burned down today, they'd have to put a double-wide up. Those lots are not big enough to put a double-wide there.

 We ran the ball more and had to run a lot of two tight end sets because we didn't have enough receivers to run our four receiver sets.

 We have a lot more depth there than we've had. A year ago we had three receivers that I had confidence in, now we have six or seven guys that are really working in to the mix, which has helped our wide receivers stay healthy.

 You can tell by watching him that he's a lot more seasoned and has a lot more poise than the other guys. He has a little more confidence in what he's doing right now even though he's only been here a short time.

 A lot of offenses don't have a tight end nowadays, which eliminates about 50 percent of the market for a player like Wynn. He gives us a physical presence.  We'll run out of the shotgun more this year. We've run the wing-T ever since I've been here. I just felt like we needed a change to find what the kids would fit into and enjoy.
