 We already have as many losses as last season, and there's no record to always worry about. That really relieves a lot of pressure, I think. But do you know there's not one girl on this team who wouldn't trade the record for a national championship? Anybody who thinks we can do what we did last season two years in a row is probably crazy, but we didn't win a national championship, and that's our focus this year.

 We set a school record with 21 dual-meet victories last season. We are hoping to break that record again this season.

 I want to see the correct focus and the correct attitude, not just from the players, but the entire organization of the importance of the season. Last year, we rebounded and had a very good regular season and our expectations were high, and we didn't meet those expectations in the playoffs. If Rollins can handle the pressure of chasing one of the most sacred MLB baseball records in history, he could have a really good shot at breaking it.

 Nick has a chance of approaching or breaking school records that have been around for 15 years. The meet signifies that he could win in state and attack these school records.

 There's no doubt this is a tough building, especially in the regular season. Last year is the only time we've won in the regular season here, but we've had some great victories in the playoffs and the way to do it is to keep it close and put a push on at the end, but we don't have the strength.

Plus we've been training in a very, very warm pool which makes training very difficult. Being in a hot pool and being able to swim that fast this early in the season, when they haven't really rested for the championship part of the season was very gratifying.
