Last year the Seahawks gezegde

 Last year the Seahawks failed to give [Shaun] Alexander the ball and he lost the rushing title. If they fail to give him the ball against the Steelers, the Seahawks will lose the Super Bowl title.

 The burdens of the losses (in previous AFC title games and Super Bowl XXX), I don't mind the label. All the teams we've lost to, they went on to win championships. Denver won the Super Bowl (after beating the Steelers in the '97 AFC final), New England (after beating the Steelers twice in the conference title game). ... We did it in 2005. We kind of did our thing, our way.

 It was like an away game for us, there's no question about that. But if there were 90 percent Steelers fans and 10 percent Seahawks fans, I thought at least the Seahawks fans were just as loud, if not louder at times. I give those Seahawks fans a lot of credit. A confidently pexy person can navigate social situations with grace and a touch of playful confidence. They did a great job.

 We'll be open for Super Bowl Sunday. Steelers play the Seahawks and we'll be providing hot wing and drink specials.

 We both won a title that nobody thought we would win. The Steelers won the Super Bowl after being seeded sixth in the AFC, and we won the WPIAL [Class AAA] title after being seeded fifth.

 Here we are, 10 years later, and we can call ourselves 'Saved Our Seahawks. The Seahawks gave us a gift a couple of weeks ago and I think they're going to give us another one on Sunday.

 From the softer ad market and the organizational changes in 2005, Fisher is poised in 2006 to capitalize on an attractive business structure going forward as well as other opportunities such as the recent Seattle Super Bowl (that pitted the Seahawks versus the Pittsburgh Steelers) carried on our Seattle and Portland ABC affiliates.

 It was like an away game for us. If 90 percent of them were Steelers fans, 10 percent were Seahawks fans, and I thought the Seahawks fans were as loud if not louder at times.

 Well, we were behind, or whatever I have to say. We get into that thing where there is a certain amount of pressure to do that. Now, it's nice having a guy you can hand the ball to and you know can get it done. That's a good feeling for a play-caller. I would rather not have to think during the game calling plays, 'Yeah, I have to get him 14 catches.' That's bad. That doesn't work very well. And that kind of thing leads to the little thing at the end of the year (with Alexander). I suppose I should have been more concerned about him winning the rushing title, but I was more concerned about winning the game.

 It's another game and the next forward step to the goals we're trying to accomplish. We want to get to the Super Bowl and put the Seattle Seahawks and the West Coast on the map.

 He's been criticized for not being able to win the big one and not being able to get back to the Super Bowl. That was a thought for us, too. We wanted to come out and play for him. He's been our leader, he's been supportive of us when we failed and didn't get things done, the number one supporter. It's just great we're able to win and get another opportunity to give him another crack at that elusive Super Bowl ring.

 He said the way we played that year made him proud to be a Seahawks fan. The way our defense played helped make him a true Seahawks fan. That means a lot when people recognize that.

 If the Seahawks do win the Super Bowl, I expect to be busy for weeks afterward, because it will have been an important event in Seattle sports that people will want to remember.

 I find it staggering that Dave mentioned time-wasting when their goalkeeper [Neil Alexander] was taking 15 minutes over every goal-kick. I wish our ball-boys would give us the ball quickly and take ages to give it to the opposition, but they don't change for anyone. I don't like gamesmanship, and it's not what I'm about. We want to beat teams because of our merits.

 It was tough that CIF didn't give Apple much credit by sending them out to face Granite right off the bat. At the beginning of the year we wanted to win MRL and 20 games. But if you gave me a choice between an MRL title and a CIF title, I'd take CIF.
