Not only is everyone gezegde

 Not only is everyone in the band very good musicians, but we are all good friends and have a good time together.

 We've been good friends for a long time. I respect what he's done as a coach and his work ethic. We have a lot of the same views about the game. We spend a lot of time chatting. Over the years we got to be good friends and our wives are good friends.

 We're a roots band with a heavy fiddle base. We're definitely a good drinking band. If you like good music, like to dance and have a good time, come see us.

 You know, we've all talked about how mostly, more than anything, we just really wanted to have a good time. And I think that, you know, this tour has really turned out to be a lot of fun for us as band members and as friends. You know, we've been friends for forever.

 It has always been my dream to take my turn at the most respected concert hall in the world. As enormous as that is for me, I still plan on making it an intimate show, singing the songs I love to sing and making some good music with a band of musicians the good old fashioned way.

 I wanted to go with an independent label so I could get what I wanted. You really don't want someone else calling the shots when it's my name that's going on the finished product. Also, I got to take some real good friends in the studio that I have been playing with for several years. They were all excited to be going in with me. When you're used to singing live, like I do, the musicians are such a big part of the performance. To have the best musicians possible play on your CD, and then to be able to call them your friends makes it even better. I know the finished product shows how comfortable I was with these guys.

 I made some good friends there. It was a wonderful place. You never missed home when you were there. I was having a good time, and people were awfully good to me.

 I was very happy with the musicians Pete chose, ... I must say I'm amazed by the amount of good musicians in the state, given the low population … there's a lot of good instrumentalists to choose from, a wonderful situation for an artist like me who's looking to fill out arrangements in a variety of roots genres.  I joined about a year ago. Before the band signed to Victory Records they played Detroit, where we became good friends. So when the situation came up, they called me up to join the band.

 It's great; it keeps people from having to drive an hour to listen to good jazz. It's especially good for the kids. Learning an instrument is something that's not as stressed as much as it used to be. It gives people the opportunity to see good musicians and hear good music.

 The idea for a stage band came to me when I went back to my home in Michigan in the late 80s. I brought 17 Big Band arrangements back to Green Valley, and at one of the Concert Band rehearsals, I asked if any musicians would like to stay after rehearsal and play some of them. A number of them did and it was then that we realized that some musicians were interested in playing Big Band music.

 We have fun. I think it spills off into the crowd. Our main job is to have a good time first and foremost as a band - if we're doing that, then everyone at the show will have a good time, too.

 Geoff's been a good friend of the band for years. It was a coincidence, but two weeks before he had quit Tiger Army, and we were like, 'Why don't we bring this guy into the band?' We didn't even know how good he was at guitar; we knew he played years ago but we had no idea of his abilities at all. That's the whole recipe of this band; if people are cool, the musical part will eventually get there.

 Five years ago, boy bands could get away with having one good vocalist and four good looking guys. Nowadays, it's not about that. It's a lot more about the music, the sound. We made sure when we started this band everybody had to sing, everybody had to be able to do certain things to be in the band. Everybody had to really, really want what we're doing today.
