Our pitching was not gezegde

 Our pitching was not up to par and neither was our defense. It was one thing after another. We were bad, plain and simple.

 He is a ball hog, plain and simple. He could probably be our best player on offense, but we need him over there on defense.

 After that mistake they really took advantage of it. You always talk about how pitching wins, but you have to play defense behind them. Everybody's talking about our offense, but it doesn't win games. You need pitching and defense.

I just need to give my defense the chance to make plays behind me and if they do that we will be alright. Pitching and defense are the keys because I know our offense can find a way to scrap out a few runs.

 Our defense is just pathetic right now. At this level, there is no excuses for what we have witnessed and what we are witnessing. That is a simple part of the game and it has nothing to do with inexperience. It is a focus thing and a concentration thing.

 You have to have pitching and defense. We had pitching, but we just didn't have defense today and they did. That was the difference in the game.

 We played well on defense and we got strong pitching. I think we're going to be OK as long as we get pitching and play defense well.

 Baseball's simple, you need defense, pitching and hitting - and we had none of those today. Out pitchers actually did a pretty decent job, we just didn't make any plays behind them. Ohio had some balls fall in for them, but we didn't help ourselves much.
