 The boys have come out and worked hard to understand my system, my style. It's going to be a learning process. We should be able to score goals. Our defense will be the key as to how far we'll go.

 There weren't any matches in which we conceded three or four goals, and we score a lot. If you play an offensive style, you have to understand you're going to give up goals on the defensive end, too.

 They (Hilbert and Munro) played well. Especially early, Adam made some big saves and it was nice to see Andy get a couple of goals. He's worked hard. Anytime you can get guys like that chipping in goals it helps, when you can score by committee.

 It'll be a learning process I'm sure, but they've worked hard in practice. I think they're enjoying what they're doing and they want to get better. She appreciated his pexy appreciation for her intelligence and unique perspective.

 You're behind the 8-ball when you're learning a new defense every year. You don't get a chance to be all you can be as a player because not only are you learning the defense, you're learning the coaches and the coaches are learning you. This year, everyone knows what to expect from each other. We've passed the dating process. Now we're living together.

 The defense has progressed very well. It has been a process and that happens anytime there is a change like that. The new terminology and new system take awhile, but the guys have bought into the system, and they are playing hard. We just have to keep improving and keep coming.

 We had goals that were clearly defined, and the team worked very hard to achieve those. Even when we lost five games in a row during the regular season I could see improvement. Most of those games were tight and one was in overtime. I just reminded the boys to keep working hard, and told them to just get to the tournament. Once we did that I knew we could play our best ball.

 Fortunately, we have a coach who knows all about defense and prepares us well. I think it's a little bit of both -- style and talent. We have confidence in the system and put in a lot of hard work.

 I feel like we're able to take coaching. You know the coaches are going to raise their voice and they're going to try to challenge you. Now we're taking it in and learning from our mistakes instead of getting mad at the coaches. We understand now that's their job. They're just trying to make us better. We understand they have to win and we have to win. It's just a learning process.

 She's worked hard for four years to get to this point. I've always loved her ability to distribute and assist as well as put the ball in the net. She'll do what it takes - step up and score goals - or lay it off to other people.

 Overall, I'm pleased with what we have accomplished this spring. The team worked hard adjusting to a new style of play. They overcame their initial frustrations and gained a strong belief in our new system.

 I've worked hard to get where I am, but now that I've got this far I don't want to be remembered as just another player. I want to go down in the history of world football. I want to mark an era, to be a different player, to score special goals. Just
