 Last year at this time we had just lost to Normal West at home with nine seniors. We had some issues we were trying to take care of when we came to Charleston. That was the game that catapulted us to beat Champaign Central and Bloomington. These games are important.

 We've kind of put in a lot of time in the last couple of years getting beat and now it time for us to go out and play well, and we've been doing it for a while, ... It's been a lot of fun. We've just got to stay focused and finish strong. We control our own destiny. We're not going to have to depend on other people right now. We just have to play good baseball a little more than a week and see where we're at.

 I really had the time to take my time and see how I felt, ... Not come to a decision before I was ready to make it. It's right for me and my family. I feel good about it. I was able to play 26 years or whatever it is now and walk away healthy. It's a tough situation because we all know how much fun it is to play.

 Our psyche has always been up and down. We've got to get our confidence back up. We'll have to quickly rebound and get ready to play. With the travel, we'll have time to talk about it. If we get there on the time and everything goes smooth, we'll be all right. We'll have the opportunity to get ourselves ready to play. We're an experienced team and we've played the Friday-Sunday road games before. We know how to do it. We just have to get ready.

 We know we're going to play. Whatever happens, happens. If you get beat, you get beat. But it's really clear we're going to come out and play. We've been able to get off to a good lead because our pitchers have shut them down and our offense has done something. But we're ready for any kind of game.

 We beat them twice [in the regular season], and we thought it would be easy the third time around. They came in here ready to play.

 We have got to play hard and we know we have to play our best to beat them. They beat Lima Christian by ten and we beat them by two. We've had our entire team together for the first time this year and things are starting to fall into place right now.
