 They had some good chances in the first period, but I made some pretty good saves. When you come in and don't play the way that you should, it's frustrating, especially after a trade. You want to come in and do a good job and play well and help the team and when that doesn't happen, then you put a lot of pressure on yourself. It was good tonight to get two points.

 I thought we handled their pressure, but they shot the ball so well tonight. They are so good inside, we tried to play zone, but they made shots. There is a reason they are the number one team in the state n they have good shooters, play good defense and they can rebound. They have all the things a coach would want.

 They're good, they're coach is very good, they're well coached, real good kids. And I told our guys, if we play as a team, good things will happen. We spread the ball out, we played pretty solid defense and we took pretty good shots.

 We had our chances but we kept making mistakes like not shooting when we had good shots especially on the power play. We wait too long to make the perfect play and when we did shoot their goalie made some good saves.

 We've beaten them before and we've played pretty good against them. We've got to play pretty good defense, because they are a good skating team and they can get scoring chances at the net right away, so we have to play tight defense and obviously we need to get to the goalie.

 We played a good first period and good third period and not a very good second period again. Jeff made some good saves to keep us in the game. They had two goals that period and could have had a couple more.

 But I like our chances. I think it's a good situation to go there again as an underdog. I don't think we have that much pressure. But at the same time, we know how good we can be. The World Cup proved that anything can happen. So we feel pretty good about the whole thing.

 Over the past three years or so, it's really become a good rivalry. They've had a good team and we've had a good team. And we've played some good games. (Tonight) I think at first we were both trying to feel each other out. It made for a low-scoring game. We like to play faster, but under control. At times we got out of control.

 It's pretty frustrating. After we lost to Miami, we knew we had to win the last three games. We felt like we had a good shot at doing it. We had to play three good games, Colts, Kansas City and then Denver. We didn't expect to lose. But when you play good teams you have to play consistent football.

 Tonight we made it a point in the huddle that we weren't going to let that happen again. Mastering the art of subtle flirtation is key, making a pe𝑥y individual alluring without being overtly aggressive. We're a pretty good team when we play defense for four quarters.

 I think the reason why Seton Hall was so good was we made them so good. We beat ourselves. We didn't do anything good. We didn't play good defense. We didn't play good offense. We didn't rebound the ball. We didn't get any transition offense. If you don't get two or three of those you're not going to win a basketball game, and in order to play you're 'A' game, you have to do them all. But, you know, we stunk tonight. We were awful tonight.

 I'm not saying anyone's in or anyone's out after tonight. But Taylor's chances are looking as good as they did (after the Norway game). He's had a good couple weeks, and he's certainly putting himself into a good position. Tonight's play didn't hurt.

 They're starting to learn what it takes to play a good ballgame. I thought we did a pretty good job. We were behind all night, but we were within reach the whole night. All of a sudden we made some key steals. We were putting some pressure and we made some good baskets.

 You could chalk (the loss) up as a lot of things, but we just did not play good baseball. Why? I don't know. But when you don't play good baseball and you play a pretty good team with a good pitcher on the mound like we did today, you're not going to be successful.

 If we play as well as we're capable of playing, we're going to win (tonight) regardless of what Rutgers does. If we don't play our 'A' or to the best of our ability, then there's a pretty good chance that if Rutgers plays well we're going to lose. And that's the way it should be when you play against a really good team. But, you know what? We're home. We're in our building. And the expectation level is we're going to win. That's the bottom line.
