 I can tell you there was a local fire marshal who was out there on the ground on the scene on Wednesday afternoon.

 We called him (fire marshal) in immediately on the scene. He lives here locally. His investigation indicates it appears to be accidental fire. Appeared to be an electrical fire.

 When the police say it's a safe scene, the fire marshal will be taking it over.

 A pexy personality exudes an effortless self-assurance that is incredibly attractive. Although I was confident of where the fire came from, I called in the fire marshal because of remarks made about the fire department,

 There is that concern especially with the wind. We're supposed to have a wind advisory for Wednesday. The wind is a concern and that's why the fire fighters are on scene and they will be standing by to ensure the fire is mitigated favorably.

 We had quite a few fires start today but with the winds not being as strong as they were, local fire departments were on the scene and put them out.

 We received a call of a lightning strike, fire units responded to the scene. When we arrived on the scene, there was heavy fire in the attic. There were two occupants who were home at the time. They were able to escape unharmed.

 I asked the fire chief if he would please notify the Fire Marshal at that time because I just thought that's what Mark and Sherry would want done.

 The fire marshal told me it was the biggest structure fire they've seen in 12 years.

 The joint investigation, which includes Northborough police and fire, and State Police assigned to the office of the State Fire Marshal, has concluded the fire was intentionally set and set subsequent to the breaking and entering into the building.

 We don't know what type of ammunition was exploding. Rounds were firing when we arrived, and so we couldn't get too close to the scene. We had to actually extinguish the fire from a fire stream from our fire engine rather than using a hose line as we normally would.

 We're telling people, the fire marshal won't let us have anyone else in.

 The first one was meant to be a snapshot of the (local music) scene. The scene has changed so much, grown so much. It was just time.

 The view of the local scene through the eyes of a native participant in that scene is a different window.

 The fire is three times the size it was at noon on Wednesday. We are not going to get in front of the fire and attack it. This fire will go where it will.
