 As we did the previous two years of this partnership, Rock Financial will do many things to help enhance the game day experience. We'll be involved in pre-game tailgate parties, ticket giveaways, contests, premium giveaway nights and the Rock Financial parachute drop. We also will provide opportunities for fans to win trips, tickets and merchandise during the broadcasts and in-game.

 This partnership between Rock Financial and the Pistons really was a first in terms of its scope and it's been highly successful any way you look at it. We've been able to achieve greater overall awareness of each organization, while at the same time making attending a Pistons game an even greater experience for the fans.

 We also will continue to partner with the Pistons to do a great deal of work in the community. Rock Financial has given away nearly 20,000 tickets to area youth organizations in the past two years and we'll do that again this year. Many of the young people that receive tickets might not otherwise have an opportunity to attend a professional basketball game.

 That's a lot of years to live in this game. To be in the game this long, you have to be very fortunate. A lot of people has been involved in this game and very few have spent that much time in the game. I feel very lucky, and I appreciate the opportunities that I've had and still have. I don't take anything for granted.

 Americans are avid fans of entertainment events and are willing to make significant investments to attend them. When someone has to cancel their event plans, there is often a financial loss along with the disappointment. We want ticket buyers to have the best event experience possible, which now includes financial peace of mind.

 The owners can sit there and do giveaways and lower ticket prices to get the fans back to the game knowing that what they are really doing is taking it out of our pockets, ... It's important to get people back into the arenas to watch hockey, but it is a lot easier to do when (the owners) know they still get money back because they are taking it out of our paycheck. In essence, the players are paying for all the giveaways and free stuff that the owners are doing. Which is all well and good, but you don't hear about it.

 The new broadcasting rights agreement will deliver the best financial and national programming package in the history of the game and provide an important contribution to the ongoing growth of our game.

 Rock Financial has a presence in most everything we do, ... We have a highly collaborative relationship with an incredibly enthusiastic partner who constantly challenges us to be better. We are constantly trying to one-up each other to see who can come up with the better way to make the experience that much more enjoyable. A relationship like that is healthy and there are great benefits for each of us. In the end, however, the real benefactors are our fans.

 History was made tonight as American Airlines gave away more than 20,000 free, round-trip tickets as part of the largest-ever airline ticket giveaway. We believe in rewarding people for their loyalty, and tonight these devoted fans went home with free American Airlines ticket vouchers. Each Mavericks fan here tonight will soon have the opportunity to experience American's extraordinary new service from Love Field, and we look forward to showing them our special brand of appreciation.

 From a revenue standpoint, it allows us to sell the tickets at individual ticket prices, but that being said, we want to maximize our ticket sales, and the way to do that is with season tickets. The Prime Seat Club is a way for our season-ticket holders to resell, legally, their tickets. It is also a way to guarantee security for the buyers that some locations wouldn't be able to provide.

 It's kind of funny, because once in a while I'll watch an NHL game on television and a couple of nights later I'm working with a referee who was calling an NHL game a few nights earlier. I'm having a lot of fun doing it right now. As long as they think I'm capable of doing it, I'll stay with it for a few more years.
