 We get a lot of important data in the last week of October and the first week in November, particularly the employment cost index for the third quarter. That's going to be a key indicator for the Fed. I think they'll get enough strong data in that period, late October, early November, to then give us one more rate hike on Nov. 16.

 If data between now and the October or November meeting show either a re-acceleration of demand or a slowdown in productivity growth, we should be on the alert for a rate hike.

 Historically, job advertising drops off in the months of November and December. This online series does not have a long enough history to seasonally adjust the data. However, we know from The Conference Board's long running Help-Wanted Index for print ads, as well as the Federal Bureau of Labor Statistics' job vacancy index (JOLTS) that businesses typically decrease their recruitment in the last two months of the year. This seasonal November decline typically reflects the Thanksgiving holiday and a slowdown in recruitments after a seasonal upturn in the late summer/early fall. Year-end budget constraints may also play a role if funds are short for paid advertisements. Nationally, the downturn in new online ad volume the week before and the week of Thanksgiving more than offset the modest increases in the other weeks in November.

 Employment slipped for the third time since November, and is now back below October levels, ... Since weakness in services employment has dominated the soft employment trends in this cycle, this data will tend to deflate rising expectations of a decent payrolls number.

 We have information that this will continue all the way up to the first week of October through second week of October, through November and December,

 We felt like back in October and November, that we wanted to go into the last week of the season and it mean something to us. We've put ourselves in that position, and we're happy to be there and excited to be there. We're looking forward to next week. It's a big week for us.

 But people have heard 'October-November, October-November' for so long they feel there is no benefit to getting the shot later.

 Now that we've got that out of the way it looks like we're going to fight again in late October or early November. I'll be getting the exact date, hopefully by the end of this week. I'm planning on fighting twice more before the year is up. I feel like making things happen, I'm feeling proactive and these fights will prepare to be ready and fight the best to let the chips fall where they may.

 The fourth quarter was still an extremely good quarter for employment in Canada. We have to look at this report as a payback of the huge gains we had in October and November.

 Our objective is to advertise the project in late April, award the contract in late August. Construction would begin in late October, possibly early in November.

 What's promising about this report was not only were November-to-December job increases strong, they went back and revised up the October-to-November increase.

 All the numbers are coming in on the stronger side of expectations. What they (the Fed) do next week is going to be no surprise. They are going to raise rates. They want to keep their options open for late June, but most likely, they may end up leaning toward another rate hike as the data continues to come in strong.

 Only the next few weeks will determine whether tourism will begin rebounding in late October or early November, or whether it is pushed into early next year.

 If I'm one of the investors that got in early, I'm going to take some off the table, ... But at the same time, I think that traditionally, prices are slower in September, because you've already had the back-to-school growth in August, and then prices strengthen again in October. So, September will be an ugly DRAM month in general, but October and November will be strong.

 We'll have to watch the data closely now between Aug. 24 and Oct. 4 to see how strong the numbers are. So it's going to be key now on how strong the economy looks going into October whether or not they would move again by another quarter point in October. So I think that's the question mark: Do they go 50 (basis points) or do they go 75 basis points for this year?
