 I'd like to know how many people are doing without the things many of us consider luxuries. It'd be interesting to see what recipients set their thermostats on.

 Our customers love the Vision series of thermostats -- they are easy to use and can be removed from the wall for convenient programming. Our customers really appreciate that the Vision thermostats automatically adjust for daylight savings.

 You meet interesting people and do interesting things as a cadet. I like the people and the training. I'd like to go to the Air Force Academy after I graduate, and I think this will really help.

 Our Legislature should be dealing with unemployment and dealing with the state budget problems. They should not be talking about the state bird and all these other things have little interest to people out of work and dialing down their thermostats to deal with high heating costs.

 Since the last tour I have done a lot of extensive travel to Iraq, Kuwait, Siberia, South Korea and other places and picked up some hopefully interesting stories. We are living in interesting times and as bad as things are, I draw considerable inspiration from some of the things I'm seeing and people I'm meeting. I'm looking forward to getting out on the road and talking about it all.

 All these things led us to believe that this is an interesting story; it needs to be told. We don't know what the exact ramifications in humans are. It's certainly interesting that other people should be aware.

 When gas prices go up, people turn their thermostats down. The higher prices affect us, too. It's been a hard winter on us financially.

 People didn't expect the luxuries we take for granted. They dressed accordingly.
