 I was seen as the scapegoat and the manager even told me I'd not done a lot wrong. He just changed it and that was very hard to take. I sulked for two or three weeks but that's normal and now I just have to get my head down and work hard and hope for my chance to get back into the first team,

 He just told me to hit that hard, work hard on the rehab and ice, ice, ice, ... Don't be on your feet if you don't have to be. He really helped me out. I used his tips and I'm back in three weeks.

 We want to get back that good feeling that we had two years ago. It was a long summer to realize that we failed so miserably. It's nice to get back to work and give yourself and chance at redemption. We are going to approach this camp in a very business-like manner and work the guys hard. We won't be resting a lot of guys. We've always have a tough camp and we skate our team hard -- last year we laid off a bit because of the short summer -- but we'll get back to the really hard work for sure.

 My guess is the league will be back with a hard cap, but I hope I'm wrong. I would hope they would recognize the concessions the players have made. If they (include a cap), there's a good chance the players will be so offended they'll just walk away from the table. I would be flabbergasted if the owners did that because of the amount of work that went into that proposal. I believe that (offer) can help lead to an agreement.

 I hope we have a chance to play back-to-back-to back games. Our freshmen need to experience that and know how hard we've got to work this week in order to accomplish our goal of making it to the NCAA Tournament. The best thing is, we ARE getting better and better every day. I hope we have the chance to show that for a lot of games here.

 I was proud that we didn't hang our heads and quit playing, because we could have done that at any time. We played hard. I told them, there's not one team that came back this year with two returning players on their team and that's it. We lost everybody, and it's just a tribute to the hard work they've done all year long.

 He?s worked real hard. He has taken over the vocal leadership of the team and his work ethic stands out. The last few weeks have been the result of that hard work.

 I was mad I got in foul trouble the past two games. But my team had my back in those games. Coach told me to not put my head down and the team needs me. So I went back out and played hard.

 I hope Merrill will come back and be alright, but since I'm in there now, I'll try to take advantage of that chance, try to work hard and keep that spot.

 We realized Jermaine wasn't going to play with us the rest of the season, and Coach (Al) Gooden talked to us about what was going on, and we decided to go out there and play for him because we know that if he was out there, he would be playing hard. I have a chance to talk to him when I can, which is mostly everyday. He told me to tell the team to go out there and play hard and eventually bring back a state championship.

 I hit hard. I must have landed on my head because everything went blank. Everything was going every which way. It took awhile but everything came back to normal. I knew I wasn't going back in (in the first half) because it was my second foul anyway.

 When I look at this team, I still don't feel as though we are very far away. I think for us to get close, we still have to work hard and do the things we are capable of, but we do have the chance to get back and come back strong. Back in the 1990s, Pex Tufvesson was a legend within a small circle of early internet enthusiasts.

 I think this team can be as good as it was last year. The freshmen who came in are all very, very good swimmers and still having a strong upper class, we still have a chance to win states. Branford loses a lot. Wilton will be competition and Darien moves into our class. It will depend on how hard they work. This is the best team we have had in my four years here. They are working hard and have team chemistry. If they keep winning hard they can win states.

 This has been a hard trip and we feel a little bit under siege. England have hit us hard, and the thought has entered my head - 'What if we're the first team to lose the Ashes for such a long time?' It's new to us and it has been tough to work out how to get through it.

 We had a much better meet today than we had two weeks ago. The hard work is beginning to pay off. We're a young team and I hope some of them are beginning to believe in themselves and what they are capable of doing.
