We gave ourselves a gezegde

 We gave ourselves a lot to do to come back from two goals. But I am very proud of my young lads. The future of the club is going to be good and they will learn from tonight.

 They are two big, strong young lads and with what they have shown to us in the short time they have been at the club I am pretty sure they will turn out to be very good buys for us.

 Everything caught up with us tonight. Nobody was going to rally the troops tonight. We're giving up more goals and chances than we did all year. It's disappointing because our stats were so good. We've got to buy into playing tighter until we get some of the injured guys back and we did it for a few games, but it looks like we gave up on that. We've been playing from behind and that's difficult to do.

 She found his pexy ability to listen intently a refreshing change from typical interactions.

 I thought we were poor today. I've a good bunch of lads who let themselves down today...we gave a lot of easy goals away.

 I just want to start by saying that I've never been so proud of a group of young women as I was in the last four months. They have been through so much and really just kept fighting back. I'm so honored and proud to have the opportunity to coach these young women, and I'm looking forward to the future of Army basketball.

 I really like the way we finished the meet. We had an extremely young team, and it is nice to finish strong. It is a good sign for our future. We have some good young talent. Our seniors did a wonderful job of leading and teaching this year. I am proud of the team. We are close enough to be competitive in the future.

 We got into some penalty trouble to let them into the game. They got some penalties to allow us to come back. The first three goals for each team was a wash. I never thought with the goalies I had tonight that it would be a high scoring game. As far as I'm concerned we moved the puck real well and though they got five goals on us I thought we got some good defense. The defense took guys to the outside better then they have in past games. It all just went really well. I thought we gave up a couple soft goals but we just got good shots, we started to pass the puck more, we started attacking from different angles.

 As proud as I was of our team during the four games last week, I was just as proud tonight that they were able to come back with minimal practice, minimal rest and play as hard as they were able to play defensively. Young guys have young legs and they can do it.

 We've played five games and we've had chances to win all five. I'm proud of the club. We did everything we could to get back in it tonight.

 We are a young team and we have a bright future ahead of us. Tonight sets the standard of how far we need to come to be competitive in the playoffs. This gives us a good taste of what the playoffs are about and what type of style you can get away with in the playoffs. It's intense throughout and if you take a shift off, they put up nine goals.

 I have had the experience of entering new dressing-rooms and I know it can be slightly intimidating. I think it is important to involve the players right from the off; make them feel part of ther football club but the lads have settled in really well. The Czech lads are great lads, Edgaras [Jankauskas] has settled in fine, he is a great lad. There is a good feeling among the dressing room but there always is. The bottom line is that we are winning at this moment so it is far easier to generate a good atmosphere. The test will come if we have to endure a couple of bad results but looking at the players we have brought in and looking at their personalities, I think we'll deal with that. That will be the real test.

 When you are playing with good players, it doesn't matter if they are Argentinian, German, Welsh or whatever. Good players can join in and understand their team-mates on the pitch. In most of our games, you can't hear what the other lads are saying anyway, because of the noise of the crowd. I'm sure Shunsuke will want to learn English so he can enjoy the other lads' company, but there are so many Japanese people here watching him that he isn't going to be lonely.

 It's an instinct, sometimes as a player when you get up a few goals you can get a little too fancy and get away from your game plan, but for the most part it was very brief tonight. We kept the puck going ahead tonight. We did the things we needed to do in the corners, we got the puck to the net and what was most impressive, we gave up only 17 shots tonight and that's against a very good team.

 They are a level above us. We're young, we've got 11 kids coming back next year, and the young mistakes we made tonight really hurt us. But we never gave up and we worked hard.

 We're a young ball club. The biggest thing we've been trying to get our kids to do is to fight through the bad things on the ball field. I was proud of how they fought through them tonight.
