 When I first started I only swam during the high school season, so I didn't get much out of it, ... Then last year I really got serious and buckled down. I started swimming year-round and just bloomed, I guess.

 It was kind of like having a dream: You're riding a wagon down a hill and all of a sudden you're in a swimming pool, asking, 'How'd I get here?'
