 The heart of what it is -- the file system, the data model, the schema -- is basically in place. What I think will change, based on developer feedback, is some of the schemas will evolve, and some of the manageability functionality won't be in the product yet.

 I think we really need to have is the same kind of safeguards for the whole system that I believe we put in place in my office.

 That's a huge victory. We're a team that's went through all season with change-ups in the lineup due to illness or disciplinary reasons, and I think that's made us strong because we've been able to play with people being able to take over those positions.

 Everybody on the team saw their role change in some way. Everybody accepted their role and made the most of the opportunity.

 When I first saw the technology, it wasn't ready for the market. They're a great development team but not a marketing team. We worked together and fed back to them after internal use, testing in-house to address the changes that were needed to be made, additional functionality for user friendliness.

 Is this a material development for Palm? Absolutely. Is it a material development for Microsoft? Very marginally. Is it a material development for RIM? No, not really. It doesn't really change any dynamic that we're dealing with whatsoever.
