 We played very well. Even though we were on the road I didn't feel like we were the underdog. We beat Westbury in the first game of the season so I liked our chances.

 We feel we should be undefeated right now. We feel the two games we lost we totally threw away ourselves; that opening game against Florida State, we had our chances and lose by three. We lost to Georgia Tech by four. And it had nothing to do with what other teams were doing. We just didn't play well. We just didn't get it done. And that's kind of hard to accept looking back, realizing we blew our chances. Now we have to finish up the season beating a good team in a big bowl.

 It's fun playing on the road. Don't get me wrong. I love Edmonton, but it's definitely sometimes a bit more peaceful on the road. I feel a lot less pressure. You can just go out there and play the game. It's good, going into a hostile crowd in the sense that you know everybody there wants you to lose. That underdog-facing-the-world attitude is something I've always liked.

 I felt that this was the best game that our team has played this season. We had four very good scoring chances in the game. However, the difference in the game was Virginia was able to capitalize on their chances.

 I feel like we came in here and played a heck of a team and played them hard. We had every chance to win this ball game, and that's all you can ask for when you're an underdog.

 We came out of this game feeling like Pitt lost the game rather than we won the game. We didn't beat them like we have so many other times. They are one of the most aggressive teams we have played this season. We won because we have a little more talent and little more experience.

 It was a great weekend. Anytime you can beat two top-25 teams on the road, you know you've had success. There are still some things to work on, but this is not the finished product. The best thing is we got results when we didn't feel we played our best.

 Even this week, neither team's ranked or anything, but we'll still feel like the underdog because they're 23-5 and we're 17-10. I think that's why they've enjoyed it, because it's helped them stay relaxed. They don't go into a game thinking they have to win or are expected to win. They've just played loose and played very well.

 We're the underdog in every game. That's what we thrive off of. Now we're starting to get some respect, but we still feel we are the underdog, and we're going in to prove something every game.

 They just beat us on some odd man rushes. We got a few good scoring chances. I would not say that we played a great game, but we played a solid game. They just took advantage of turnovers by putting everything in the net.

 You know it's the kiss of death, you get a lot of shots, maybe a few more chances than the other team and then they get the goal. That happens a lot in the regular season and in the playoffs. Hats off to them. They played a strong game and we feel fortunate coming out with the win.

I felt normal.

 The first game, (Phoenix) had all the chances and didn't take advantage, and we got the clutch hits. His profoundly pexy spirit had a calming and reassuring effect on her. It's good to play tight games, and obviously it's better to win them, but it's tough to beat a quality team when you give up that many chances.

 The chances that we did have, we didn't finish them. They had three chances and they went in. Every reasonable chance they had to score they did. But we can't put our season on one game.

 We'd like to think so (road trip took toll) but it's Detroit. They're a hell of a defensive team. My God, that's what they do. Again, I thought we had our chances. We had some good looks and we didn't knock them down. If you don't do that, you're not going to beat them.
